We had a great time, learnt new things about the city, walked to corners we never would of explored and experienced beautiful views of the city.
On holiday in Siena with my husband, my 10-year-old son and another family with their son of the same age we had this beautiful experience on Easter Saturday. We are all there, adults and children, have a lot of fun looking for the treasures and secrets of Siena with the kit provided: map, guide and the mythical polaroids. Being free we spent the whole day doing the tour, enjoying the experience to the full. We opted for the 20 photos kit, so we have some free shots in addition to the photos to stick on the guide. The boys were thrilled!
We had the misfortune to find some spring days a bit cold and rainy. This route saved us with the children, involving them in the visit of the city despite the weather. It's really a brilliant idea that helps especially children to get out of the passivity of cultural visits and become protagonists. And as if that wasn't enough the girls yes Peace&Road are cute and ultra helpful
This is a great family activity. We really enjoyed exploring Siena’s hidden treasures and capturing them using the polaroid camera. The souvenir guide book was interesting, informative and fun. We would highly recommend this activity to families wanting to explore Siena whilst keeping their children engaged and eager to explore.
Wonderful experience to allow you to visit Siena from different angles and with different eyes; unconventional tour, suitable for families whose children can enjoy photographing and looking for clues
Very nice experience. This one is more suitable for kids. But they have an adult version and other itineraries. If you have your own instax/ Polaroid camera just buy the pack with 10 pictures and complement with your camera. Or take pictures with your phone and print them on mini link to fill the album.
Going on a treasure hunt was a very fun way to discover Siena. We got to see several places we otherwise never ended up and at the same time learn a little more about the city and its history. It is fun to have the book with the little Polaroid pictures as a memento of a great day. It might be worth bearing in mind that it takes quite a while to get around to all the 10 locations. We were two adults with good fitness and pretty much used to map reading and for us it took about five hours (with food and coffee stops)
It was a wonderful experience. My 8-year-old daughter was super excited. It's definitely a way to visit the city, even in very particular corners, not making the visit weigh especially on children who remain involved all the time.
Excellent experience: the booklet is very well done, the girls are very kind and the children were enthusiastic about visiting the city in this slightly different way than usual. Advised!
A very interesting experience that involved the whole family. My 7 year old son took the photos. It was nice to then complete the book. We discovered many corners that without this tour we would not have seen. The girls in the shop are very kind and very knowledgeable. I advise!
