Selayang Hot Spring is located on the left hand side of the trunk road as you travel from Jalan Ipoh towards the town of Rawang. Locals believed that this spring water is able to cure them of skin diseases and other ailments.
Kanching Rainforest Waterfall, also known as Kanching Recreational Forest, is set in a forest reserve of nearly 500 hectares in the Rawang district just north of Kuala Lumpur. Its close proximity to the city makes this forest park a very popular spot for picnics, camping, swimming and jungle walking especially at weekends. The park is also popular with photographers who like to try out their talents at snapping fast moving water.

Wonderful new experience. Explored hidden gem not so far from city and the waterfall was amazing. The guide was really informative and very helpful
So after booking the tour we didn't recieve any confirmation on what time we'd be picked up from our hotel so I sent a message to the tour operator to confirm it would be 10:00am at our hotel. I got a message back saying our hotel was too far and to go into KL city to be picked up. We declined as the tour advised there was a hotel transfer. We then recieved a response advising there would be an extra charge to pick us up. Needless to say we didn't end up paying it because none of that was mentioned in the tour. Anyway we got over that and were advised we'd be picked up at 10:30 but the guide didn't come until 11:00am. Trying to stay positive we went to the hot springs first. I would say don't bother with them they are boiling hot and full of locals. The area is also quite dilapidated. Then we went to the waterfalls which we really enjoyed and I would deff recommend, you really don't need a guide though so you can just catch a taxi or a grab there or hire a driver. Next which I was most excited about was Batu Caves. So we are driving and the guide points them out and then we carry on driving past them...apparently all that was included in the price was a "pass by" we literally drove about 20 minutes just to drive past it. Now who in the hell wants to just drive past something. Anyway it was my fault I didn't read the fine print. In summary read the fine print because we paid $80 Australian pretty much for nothing.
