It is a guided tour of approximately one hour of horseback riding with an expert horseman on a very quiet beach. You will sit around and start to sweat with the steam generated by volcanic stones and fragrant herbs. Here you will thank our Mother Earth for everything you have and will ask for help to remove yourself from everything you don’t need. minutes ago New Dec 2024 - Our adventure started with our driver from the port! Enrique was knowledgeable and very friendly. When we got to our destination we were greeted by our guide team. They set us up in our equipment and made sure we had everything we needed before starting out. We hopped into the truck and headed up the mountain. We had a short training session and then we were off. My first time and it was exhilarating! Highly recommend this tour and these guides. Safety first, with FUN a close second. When we were done in the canopy, we were served an amazing authentic Mexican 🌯🌮lunch with a 🍺. Across the road to the Tequilaria for the BEST tequila I have ever tasted. Next across the courtyard to the silversmith and leatherman’s shop where I bought some beautiful handcrafted earrings. This family took care of us like we were family! Ziplining, ATV, and Kayaking. Fun for everyone ❤️ Thanks to everyone for the best time ❤️
We had a great experience on this ziplining excursion! They picked us up in a nice van and it was about a 1 hour drive from our cruise ship port. All of the guides were so nice and helpful and the ziplining was so fun! The views of the jungle were gorgeous. The lunch afterward was delicious and plentiful. Basically an authentic all-you-can-eat Mexican feast. My kids, 7 & 9, loved the ziplining and lunch. I did get a ton of bug bites on my ankles so I would recommend wearing bug spray and it is super muggy so plan on hydrating! They did give us each a bottle of water during the ziplining. Highly recommend this activity for families but probably not for kids under 5/6 as it is a bit of hiking and carrying equipment.
Great and safe experience in the jungle! There were 12 ziplines and the longest one was 300 meters. Excellent team, charming village, and delicious authentic lunch. Fantastic excursion!
It was very easy to find the rep when we got off of our cruise ship. Drove about an hour from the city into the jungle and small towns. It was quite scenic. Felt very safe with the team and the harness. Thoroughly enjoyed the 12 ziplines overlooking scenic views. Lunch afterwards was authentic and delicious. One of our favorite experiences!!
Excellent experience. Business was outside the terminal bldg and we found them by the sign pictures sent to us. Travel van was new, clean, air conditioned, comfortable. Driver professional. Guides were awesome and extremely helpful. Zip lining was fantastic. Please note: Bring your phones/cameras for pictures! Every other excursion we did in the 3 ports made us leave our phones behind so they could sell us their pictures for $170-$200. One even taking the phones from us, so we assumed the same. Bummer, no pictures. I would do anything with this company again. Lunch was beyond expectations, delicious and plentiful.
Fernando our driver was amazing!!! He told us about Mazatlán's history and took us a different route back to port to show us the dam, La Noria, drove all the way through Mazatlán, and took us to an agave farm/tequila farm to buy vanilla. The zip lining guides were great as well and took very good care of us. The food was amazing, definitely the best mangos we've ever eaten! The whole experience from start to end was very easy. There is a small bit of hiking between zip lines and it was very hot with the humidity in early September, but they provided water bottles for us and the trails were almost all shaded. Definitely use bug spray! The zip lines were terrifying but fun and the guides were very familiar with the course. Overall a great experience!
We booked this excursion just before sailing from Long Beach. For some reason even though i booked the 1030am excursion we were scheduled for the 9am. All it took was a direct call to the zipline operator and the issue was resloved. The pick-up at the pier went smooth and since we were the only group we got a small taxi that stayed with us the entire day. Originally, I was only going along for the ride while my daughters ziplined, but I was given a great price to do an ATV tour. Upon arrival we were introduced to the staff by our driver and the girls were off with there guides, just the two of them. I then met my guide and it turned out I was the only one riding. So basically we all got private excursions. My daughters and guides eventually caught up to a smaller group on the ziplines but they said it was still great. They loved their guides, Carlos and Carlos, who they said were funny, friendly and professional. My ATV tour was just as good and Hector did a great job. To top it all off the included lunch is absolutely amazing! So so much food. It was really good and we felt bad not finishing it all. Our driver then returned us to the ship another 45 min drive but comfortable. Not sure if everyone will luck out and basically get private tours as that doesn't help the operator, but this is a must do when in Marzatlan. Great job!
First time doing this activity and it was awesome, a bit scary but a one for the books, all the staff super friendly and of course the food is also the best.
Here's the deal: Go in October to February. We went in June and it was HOT HOT HOT. No shade, whatsoever. All the bushes and trees are brown and dead looking. The green up after the rainy season in July/August. The meal was absolutely the best meal we've ever had--bar none--on any excursion. Crew is very friendly and nice.
The good: The lunch was the best we have ever had on any excursion in any country. Legit, wonderful Mexican food. The people are kind and helpful. The location is in a small town, Veranos. Very cool to get off the beaten path. The bad: Hot. Hot. Hot. We went in June. I would not go again unless it was in October to February. All the plant life was dead and we baked. Rainy season is July. Then all the green comes to life and makes it much better. We came in two vans. One had no AC. An hour drive with no AC with 10 people in the van. Rough. Check in at the cruise terminal was chaotic. We pre-purchased with Viator. They sent specific instructions with pictures of a guy who is there “every day” and specific instructions on the color of shirt. Neither were true. We eventually asked around and got there. Because we were already pre-purchased, he kept neglecting us to take funds from cruise passengers that were paying in cash. Not a crazy big deal, but annoying in the scope of things. Overall, in the right time of year I think it would be a great excursion.
