We had a lovely time touring and tasting with Siu Wai on Hong Kong Island. From some of the best dim sum to delicious milk tea — a true Hong Kong tradition — every stop was memorable!

It was a great tour and tourguide Sandy really took us to nice restaurants and explained a lot about the food and foodculture of Hong Kong. I highly recommend this tour and tourguide Sandy.

What a wonderful tour! Sandy was an absolute fantastic tour guide! The restaurants she took us to were the favorite places that the locals go to. We ate delicious treats from noodles to dim sum to tea made by a tea master. The small group tour was just right for our group of 4 and another group of 2. She also took us to a wet market, explaining what we saw and how things are done here in Hong Kong. Additionally, she also took us to one of the very old temples, explaining the traditions here. We learned about the living situations and the cost of living for the average citizen in Hong Kong. The only negative was that during the tour we had to pay an extra $100 USD for the drink package that really didn’t cover anything but a can of beer and a glass of rice wine- neither of which did we have time to drink.
We’re grateful you shared your experience with us! It’s great to know the day felt relaxed, enjoyable, and full of good moments along the way. Secret Food Tours would love to welcome you back.
Sandy was a terrific guide who really knew her stuff! She was personable and knowledgeable, and we learned all kinds of interesting facts as we stopped at various restaurants and cafes to sample the food the people of Hong Kong enjoy everyday! Everything was so delicious, and the tour was interesting and not too hard on the body! My 81-year-old mother was able to do the walking quite easily, as were the few children on the tour. It is a great tour for all ages and really quite enjoyable. I’d recommend this tour to anyone who only has a few hours to get a real taste of authentic Hong Kong.
We’re grateful you shared this with us. It’s good to know the experience offered both quality and a strong sense of place. Secret Food Tours would be happy to host you again!

Sui Wai led us thru a part of Hong Kong that we probably would have never visited on our own. She was very patient with our questions, informative about the area and the shops and explained the small details of Chinese Hong Kong culture that we did not know or understand. All of the food stops were very good, ESPECIALLY Sister Wah!! Would recommend this tour, and Sui Wai, to anyone.
