The Express was recommended to us as a quick and convenient way from the airport to central Hong Kong and that’s exactly what it was. The cost was 170 HK Dollars approximately £17 with seniors discount, only problem was it was really busy. We got seats but struggled to get our bags in the rack but we got round it with a little help from a local. Highly recommended as the central station has services to all area in HK, we caught a taxi from outside to our hotel which made it really convenient.
Train was punctual and reliable. There is already a lot to see there and back to the airport. Terminal Central Hong Kong.
Unfortunately terribly disappointed because the ticket that Tripadviser sent me electronically did not work. Threw money out the window! Nobody on the ground could help me. I visited all the MRI counters Information Center,..I asked all kinds of people but nobody knew. For the MRI it didn't work anyway! So I had to buy a new ticket on the spot and paid twice!
Wouldn't use this service again. QR didn't come. Staff had no idea what to do and I had to purchase new ticket so cost me double. Betcha don't get offered a refund! Never again!
Victor sent me what I thought was my ticket and I spent 3 hours at the Airport looking for the tour company as stated in the instructions. I ended up just paying fir my ticket again. So many emails from Viator before my trip even one that said here's your ticket didn't even open it till after I arrived with a different scanning code l. Why open it I already according to them I had what I needed.
It could not be used with this barcode and was repurchased. I want my original money back. I will never use it again!
Absolutely great service, quick, cheap and comfortable. I would recommend this to anyone. Also easy to take large luggage.
We took the express train for our departure as it’s more predictable. Using the octopus card, we took the train from yau ma tei to lai king and change to train going to Tsing Yi and the. Change to AirPort Express. It was a long walk from Tsing yi yo AirPort Express line. Use the trip planner and you can estimate the amount of time needed. It was accurate. Ride was smooth with plenty of seats.
We received our vouchers by text but with no instructions on how or where to redeem. We proceeded to Kowloon Station MRT Station and the gate agent had never seen nor heard of these vouchers. We had a bar code to scan but a QR code was necessary. We ended up buying tickets for less at customer service. The voucher stated no refunds so this seems like a scam to me. DO NOT BUY.
Was very disappointed - I took the train but to so called ticket sent to me didn’t work and I had to pay the train service to get out of the station. After a long haul flight this was very frustrating and upsetting for an older person travelling alone. When contacting Viator I was refused a refund. I have used Viator many times over the years so was very disappointed and will consider a different provider in the future.
