Meet our Tour guide at Discova Day Tour Shop before tour start. Your guide will fit your bike, give a safety briefing, and provide an overview of the tour.
The ride soon opens up to peaceful countryside roads lined with coconut palms and vegetable gardens, where locals head to the fields on bicycles. Along the way, your guide shares stories of village life and explains how these communities continue to balance tradition with the changes tourism brings.
Our first stop is a small family kitchen, where bánh bèo (steamed rice cakes) are prepared for breakfast using the traditional method. It’s a simple, delicious insight into daily life in the countryside before we continue riding to one of Hoi An’s most beautiful villages, where we stop at a family home to learn about the tradition of family chapels. From here, the route follows small canals and waterways towards a wooden boat-building site. Fishing remains the lifeblood of the province, and the sight of craftsmen shaping hulls by hand is a highlight for photographers. If the timing is right, you’ll also see families gathered by the shore cleaning their fishing nets between journeys at sea.
Our final stops include a family-run distillery where rice wine is still made in the same way it has been for generations. You’re welcome to sample a glass, or for the adventurous, try the stronger local version infused with herbs! After that, it is time to ride back to Hoi An.

Hand down one of the best day trips we have done as a family. Cycling was busy in the town but safe and settled down int he country lanes. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting the houses and meeting families and seeing the culture. Lanh was a brilliant guide, very informative and friendly. Highly recommend!
Tam was an amazing tour guide! We had the best time exploring and learning more about Vietnamese culture. The bikes were perfectly fitted for the ride and the ride suited everyone's ability. Tam explained everything clearly and tailored the tour uniquely to our group which was perfect! Along the way we got to see so many new sights and meet so many lovely locals who made our experience even better! The tour was interactive which kept everyone involved, we had so much fun! Overall we had the best time and we couldn't have done it without our tour guide tam. Tam is the best!!!

Than our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the countryside and its deep history. He was professional and always had safety first as we navigated the streets of Hoi An, crossed bridges and cycled country paths and roads. I would highly recommend Than as a guide. What a fun and memorable bicycle tour of the Hoi A countryside. Our guide Linh was exceptional and knowledgeable and kept us together at leisurely pace. Lots of breaks and great to be off the beaten path past rice fields and various farms. my 13 yr old son and I learned so much about the region and culture, making rice noodles, weaving basket mats, and even various types of rice wine. 5 stars and recommend this as a way to see and explore by bicycle

Had such an amazing time, the guides are lovely, the places they take you are very memorable and definetly worth it to get out of the busy tourist area, they show you the amazing countryside along with the buffalos, rice paper making, weaving and where they make the happy water which you get to taste, our guide was mike he was great to chat with!
