This was a lovely experience with Tom as our guide. He was knowledgeable and efficient. We made our way through thick crowds, tried some delicious tea and got to cast our lanterns into the water on a beautiful boat ride. The tour of the markets was great and we got to learn about some of their traditions and food. Great experience and tour.
Our guide Tom was terrific. Really knowledgeable about the old town. Organised a lantern boat ride which was fantastic. Well worth the money.

Please consider this tour. It was quite an experience. The guide was very acknowledgeable and gave much of insight on the culture of Old Hoi An. He also embodied the spirit of the culture. You could tell he was a kind soul. The boat ride and lantern release was spectacular. Seeing all the colorful lanterns was quite the view. You won’t regret it.

Tom was great, collected us from our hotel then we walked into town. It was so much fun having a local with us as we didn’t have to wait in line. He was very knowledgeable of the area and Hoi An. He made it enjoyable for us. We went on the boats and released our lantern and made a wish! We made lanterns which was a super fun experience. It felt like our very own town tour. I recommend doing this at the start of your trip to get an understanding of the area and things to do. Would highly recommend again!

I booked this activity but honestly you can create it for yourself ....what’s more the guide spoke of an approximate English so disappointed, and has a very strong pace , really high activity price so not top

This experience is a guided tour that includes a boat ride and lantern release, an English-speaking guide, herbal drinks, and carefully selected routes and local locations that many visitors might miss or would take much longer to organize on their own. In this case, the tour operated privately for a single guest, and the operational costs remain the same regardless of the number of participants. Regarding communication, the tour is conducted in English. During the experience we noticed that communication was somewhat limited as you mainly spoke French and only a little English. Despite this, our guide still did their best to communicate and ensure you could enjoy the experience. We always try to adjust the pace of the tour according to our guests’ comfort and encourage travelers to let the guide know if they would like to slow down or spend more time at certain stops. We still learn from any guests feedback and will continue improving our service better in the future. Thank you again for joining the tour.
We loved this tour with excellent English speaking tour guide Tom. From start to finish he thoughtfully guided us along, explaining things as we went, and happily stopping for photos when we requested. We would highly recommend this beautiful river and night market tour to others.

Nice easy evening tour in the old city in Hou an. Tom took us to a different areas of the old city which otherwise we wouldn’t know.

Thom fit a lot into the short time we had, and even took us into some ‘locals only’ areas. Sunset, full moon (perfect timing) and lantern lighting was very beautiful
