Hoi An is an ancient town located in the lower section of Thu Bon River, Quang Nam Province, about 30 kilometers south of Danang city. Hoi An was a bustling international trading port,a meeting place of the trading ships of Japan, China and the West during the 17th and 18th centuries. Before this period, there was here also traces of Champa port which was known as a site on Silk Road along the sea. Hoi An ancient town today is a special example of a traditional port city in Southeast Asia which has been well preserved. Most houses here are of traditional architecture dating from the 17th to the 19th century, and are along the narrow main streets. Hoi An is also a land mark recorded much of the mixture of acculturation. The architecture of the city reflects the influence of chinese, japanese, french traders. Hoi An still maintained an intangible cultural diversity and richness. UNESCO has recognized the ancient town of Hoi An as a world cultural heritage in 1999

Unfortunately this tour did not meet our expectations. Our guide’s English, who went by Simon, was not good so it was very hard to understand. The bigger issue was that he got into talking a lot about his family and personal viewpoints. For example he laid out tour and specifically said we needed to be at the theater by a certain time to get seats, but due to his rambling on about personal stuff we did not only didn’t get a seat the performance had started. We left it before it was over due to having to stand and look over people. He knew his information about the history but needs to not digress into personal information.
The Hoi A Nightlife Walking Tour was amazing! Our guide Chang was knowledgeable, friendly, punctual, and spoke excellent English. The booking was instead and coordinated via WhatsApp with ease. Highly recommended
We had a wonderful afternoon and evening in Hoi An with Mr.Tuan, our guide. We visited at the tail end of Lunar New Year and the ancient town was jam-packed with people, more so than usual according to our guide. Despite this,he kept track of us and accommodated our requests for taking photos, shopping, stopping for a drink, etc. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about Hoi An. The boat ride at night on the river with all the lanterns was truly special. A worthwhile tour!
Very informative and knowledgeable guide, Li was able to get us priority in queues for boat ride and the silk farm was fascinating, a lot of walking, so a few scheduled breaks could be made
My wife and I really enjoyed our tour, and this was a fantastic way to see all Hoi Ann has to offer. You get to see everything in the old town during the day, and the night market and wonderful lanterns as it gets dark. Our tour guide was really great, and even though it was very crowded he managed to get us around everything in good time. He was also really knowledgeable and answered all of our questions, as well as taking us to a place where I was keen to go for dinner. The boat trip was extremely relaxing and nice too.
Very nice afternoon/evening. A nice walk i the old quaters, old wooden buildings. These quarters have not been infuenced by the war and we really enjoyed the time.
