The Museum of Old and New art (MONA) is an art museum located within the Moorilla winery 20mins north of Hobart. It is the largest privately funded museum in Australia. The museum presents antiquities, modern and contemporary art from the David Walsh collection. The Museum houses over 400 artistic works from David Walsh's private collection.

The driver for the tour was absolutely excellent, funny - interesting - what brings the rating down is the awful MONA museum. Don’t waste your time or money - they want you to go up about 6 flights of stairs then go down about 6 flights of stairs and start at the bottom of the museum for average people - boat rode was nice. the museum was poorly put together seemed dark and evil to us / In my opinion - not worth it the money

This is a great day . The tour of the town in the morning is not all about the obvious - it’s the little special things that only local drivers know . And as for MONA- a terrific wow experience

Tour of the city was very worth while and Mona.While controversial is an explosion of a feelings and emotions that art should bring to everybody. We were overwhelmed and so happy with our experience at Mona. And the entire trip, with our guide in the morning and the accommodations to get us on the Ship to Mona.

It's a great way to learn about Hobart and what it has to offer. The Botanical Gardens were a highlight, despite the rain. The trip to MONA was something remarkably different.
