07.15 – 07.45 Pick-up from your hotel or private address and departure to Ninh Binh.
09:30 - 10:00 Take a bike and start riding around the village to explore the gorgeous rice fields surrounded by limestone mountains with a unique route and visit a local family in the Tam Coc area. They are a traditional Vietnamese family with three generations living together. Here you will get the chance to see the house’s architecture and their daily lives. 12:00 Enjoy a special lunch with the local cuisine, featuring the yin-yang balance of the Asian culture. After lunch, we will take a break before continuing the journey of exploration in Ninh Binh.
13.30 Visit Tam Coc by a small boat rowed by a local for about 1.5 hours. Known as "Halong Bay on land", the boat trip is a nice journey along the river with the peaceful scenery of limestone mountains and rice paddy fields if travelling during harvest season.
15:30 Arrive at Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century, and visit the temple of King Dinh. Under the introduction of our local guide, you will get to know more about Vietnamese history.
16.30 Leave Ninh Binh and drive straight back to Hanoi. After 2-hour drive, get dropped off at hotel. Wish you have a great day trip to Hoa Lu Tam Coc Ninh Binh

Very full day of activity. Our Guide Phil was organized and informative. Overall a good tour. Visit of local family was interesting. Lunch was more food than could be eaten, many good variety of choices.

I had the best time on this day trip! Everything was perfectly organized, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was our tour guide, Phil. Our tour guide was incredibly funny, friendly, and full of energy from start to finish. You could tell he genuinely loved his job and his passion for explaining Vietnam's history and culture. Phil perfectly balanced keeping things informative and entertaining, making the whole group feel comfortable and engaged. I especially appreciated how he went out of their way to answer everyone’s questions and even shared some great local recommendations. The Ninh Binh daily tour is amazing despite the scorching hot weather in Vietnam. My tour guide Phil, is a very nice person and he is very fluent in English, which made this trip wonderful. His historical knowledge provided us better understanding of the history, culture and the people of Ninh Binh. Apart from that, the hospitality such as the food and the transportation was superb. I strongly recommend this tour agency, especially Phil as the tour guide for a wonderful experience.
We had an amazing day, phil was a very friendly guide. We had a small group (only 3 couples) and enjoyed everything. (The bikeride was nice but a bit short). The boottrip was beatiful and a must if you’re in the area.

We booked this tour via our hotel and spent this amazing day with our amazing tour guide Phil visiting Mua caves-Tam coc-Hoa Lu. From the first friendly hello, Phil ensured we felt safe, entertained and enjoyed every single minute. The weather was sunny, views were incredible, Phil was always happy to take stunning videos and pictures. He provided water throughout the day, opportunity to explore, lunch was tasty, there were regular toilet breaks and the day was overall varied and one of the best tours I have been on. Phil is an absolute asset to Amazing Tours, he is very knowledgeable, courteous, approachable and could not do enough for us, offering helpful tips and tricks, history facts and just an overall fantastic day. He bought us fans to help with the heat, offered umbrellas for the shade and meet a friendly local. If you book this tour and are lucky enough to have Phil you will be in for a real treat. I would love to stay in Tam Coc next time and spend more time on the bikes but overall 10/10.
