Martyn’s guiding of Klaipeida was terrific. He is enthusiastic, engaging and has enormous knowledge to share, providing a balanced approach in describing this town’s history. Highly recommend.
Martin is an excellent tour guide. Knowledgeable, smart, great humor! He took us to some unexpected places and gave a lot of information. By the way, his English is great.
Did not have a good handle on the history of Klaipeda and Lithuania. Very interesting story and can be highly recommended. The guide was very knowledgeable and interesting.
Covers the old town with in-site only a local can offer with a touch of humor and history. The length of the tour was perfect considering the size of the town
Not sure how many stars to give without misleading. We did not actually go on the walk because our cruise ship did not dock there due to bad weather. Having said that, communication with the guide pre-trip was very good, plus I am very grateful that we got fully reimbursed for the cost of the trip despite giving very little notice - WELL DONE for that! Looked good value for money, but did not go on it, especially compared to the price of the trips being offered by the cruise line.
Very knowledgeable guide. He works hard to get and retain his customers attention. Pace was about right.
Great personal tour experience of Klaipeda. Our guide, Martinez was excellent. One of our favorite tours on this trip.
Our guide was excellent! He was personable, entertaining, and informative. His stories and historical photos kept us enthralled. To have a guide who was born in a village in Lithuania and grew up in Klaipeda provided a personal touch that was much appreciated.
Virginia, it was such a pleasure to meet you! I appreciate your kind words Have a great life :)
Our guide Martines was excellent and showed us how WW2 and Communism destroyed City landmarks, and how the residents responded. Martines made history come alive, and has a terrific sense of humor. Highly recommend him.
Martynas in an interactive way brought the history of Klaipeda (City of Memel) to life. His historical photographs of the places he took us to demonstrated the drastic changes in the last 170 years. He is a local but his English is very good (having lived in the UK for a number of years). A very good way to get to know Klaipeda.
