Splendid way to learn about Krakow

A great walking tour, about 6 miles over 3 hours at a relaxed pace. Our guide was full of interesting information and spoke excellent English.

Great, informative tour

It was a great tour which we booked last minute, as we had time to kill before our flight home. I’d definitely recommend this to others, but at the start of their stay in Krakow as we were given useful tips and recommendations of things to do along the way. The guide was knowledgeable and engaging. I would say it was slightly too long and probably didn’t need the break before the end.

Not to be missed

Excellent knowledge and humour. Nothing could have prepared us for how much we would have enjoyed this experience.

Excellent tour

Really excellent tour given by Dale. Very well paced and covered a huge amount of information about the city, it's history and what to do around town when the tour was finished. We're sorry that we missed the sister tour around Kazimierz in the afternoon, I'm sure it would have also been excellent. The tour itself is actually free (the €3 you pay here is a booking fee) and the guides make the majority of their income with tips, so make sure to bring some cash along. Definitely do the tour in the first part of your visit, it'll set you up with loads more of ideas of what to do with your time in Kraków.

Start your Krakow stay with Dale!

Dale was a great guide! A Brit with light, understandable accent 🤓, he was really informative, watched out for our group well, and did a great job sharing both the history and legends of Krakow! Right length of tour. Our two teens enjoyed it, too….so much so that one of them opted in for the afternoon Jewish Quarter tour, too! Gives great overall background for your Krakow stay!!

Fun walking tour and great way to get orientated!

Thoroughly enjoyed the Historic Krakow: Old Town & Wawel Castle walking tour and would thoroughly recommend it. Karolina was a very entertaining guide with lots of local knowledge and anecdotes about the city which made for a fun tour. She also pointed out places of interest that we may wish to visit later, would highly recommend a visit to the Church of St Francis of Assisi. The tour finishes at Wawel Castle where you can explore further or grab some lunch at your leisure. We did the walking tour on our first day and it is a great way to orientate yourself in the City.

Our guide was nowhere to be seen and we waited 30 mins before our 2pm time slot and 15 mins after, but nobody holding a blue umb

Our guide was a 'No Show'. Very disappointing. No communication. Very poor

Operator response

Hi, As a consistently top-rated 5-star operator, a 'no-show' guide is something that simply does not happen on our tours—a fact reflected by our flawless track record and lack of any similar complaints. We have a reputation as being one of the best tour operators in Krakow, and we take our responsibilities very seriously. On this particular day, our tours operated as normal. Our guide was there and everyone else found the tour without issue. This is evident by the fact that there are no similar complaints of 'no-shows'. The tour is scheduled to start at 2:00 PM, and our booking confirmation email explicitly suggests that guests aim to arrive 10 minutes before the tour, at 1:50 PM. To ensure we are always there to greet our guests, our guides arrive 5 minutes before this check-in window opens, at 1:45 PM. Because you mentioned waiting from 1:30 PM, it appears you arrived a full 30 minutes before the tour's start time, well before our guide's scheduled arrival. The rest of our booked guests arrived during the standard check-in window (1:50 PM – 2:00 PM) without any issue, and the tour operated as scheduled. It appears you were either in the wrong place, or you left the area before the check-in window began. Furthermore, we received zero emails or messages from you at the time indicating you were having trouble finding the tour. While we are disappointed you missed the tour, our team and guide did everything exactly as advertised. I have since attempted to contact you directly to discuss this issue, but I have received no reply
