I had a wonderful time at Historia. The rooms were new and comfortable. The public spaces were well kept and modern. The cleanliness was excellent. The service was excellent and very personal. The staff had always a great disposition. The food was absolutely delicious and varied. I was sick during the entire trip, and the staff went out of the way to prepare meals that I could actually eat, always reaching out to make sure it was OK. I enjoyed the pool and the bar service as well as the special snacks served on the deck. Would certainly recommend.

I also want to thank the manager, Desouky, for his professionalism, kindness, and attention to every detail. He made me feel welcome and truly cared about the guests’ experience. Finally, thanks to the waiters and all the staff, who were incredibly friendly, attentive, and hardworking throughout the trip. Their excellent service made my journey even more enjoyable. This was the highlight of my Egypt trip. I’m not one to provide reviews, but this one is well deserved and worth my time. My husband booked our trip with Audley travel agency. When he told me we’ll do a cruise up the Nile as part of our 2-week Egypt vacation, I didn’t want to be stuck on a boat for three nights. However, as soon as I stepped on the boat, I felt completely spoiled. The experience was very memorable from the way the staff treated you, to the entertainment/music throughout each meal and the quality and variety of the food we ate which were feasts for every meal made for a king and queen. All worth coming back to after our day excursions. We were greeted with a towel and Habiscus tea, followed by lunch where we met our favorite waiter, Omar. Then, we had a plan for a boat ride to the Nubian village, but decided to relax after Cairo and got myself a massage. Moana had strong hands, I went with the medical massage where she used her hands and fingers to dig into my knots rather than the elbow. That evening, was a Nubian tribal show and got the guests involved in dancing. It was quite the welcome. I participated in their events. One was to learn how to cook with the executive chef, Shebany Mohamed, and his Sioux chef. I learned how to make lentil soup and my fav, babaganush. They sent me home with the apron and recipes. I also got to meet the captain. Every meal was exquisite with much variety to choose from. As a foodie, the food was the best I had on the trip. The staff was all on point with Desoiuky Anwar managing the team (professional but not stuffy), many had a great sense of humor. Got to relax by the pool, saw a full moon during dinner as it cruised up the Nile. Our experience was excellent all around.

An excellent option to explore southern Egypt. They welcome you as if they have known you for a lifetime, and you can feel the warmth of the people who work there. The rooms are wonderful, the food is spectacular, and the service is top-notch. Pure enjoyment.

The spa and massages were also exceptional and became one of the highlights of the trip. After long days exploring Egypt, coming back to relax onboard was the perfect experience. Everything about Historia reflects luxury, quality, and care. The rooms, the atmosphere, the staff, the cleanliness, the organization — every detail is thoughtfully curated to create a world-class experience on the Nile. The whole experience on board was exceptional. The staff, the facilities, the food, the entertainment and service were first rate. The boat is extremely comfortable and very well maintained and impeccably clean. The staff were incredibly professional, thoughtful and kind. The food was delicious and gave a wonderful mix of traditional Egyptian cuisine and always offered other international delights. Highly recommend and hope to return one day.
