Your journey begins at Hiroshima Station (If selected option wich includes the visit to Hiroshima and Miyajima), where you will meet your guide and fellow travelers. A comfortable bus will take you to the first destination, offering a brief introduction to Hiroshima’s history and significance along the way. If you select the option wich includes the visit only to Miyajima, your starting point will be at Hiroden-Miyajimaguchi Station where you will meet the guide and the rest of the group.
Board the bus and head towards the coast for the next part of the journey. Along the way, enjoy scenic views and listen to your guide’s insights about Miyajima Island and Itsukushima Shrine. This point will be the starting point for those who selected the option which includes the visit only to Miyajima.
Upon arrival at the ferry terminal, board a boat for a short but scenic ride to Miyajima Island, famous for its breathtaking landscapes and cultural heritage. You will visit Itsukushima Shrine. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this stunning shrine is built over the water and is known for its "floating" torii gate, which appears to rise from the sea during high tide. You will explore the shrine’s beautiful wooden corridors and enjoy stunning views of the Seto Inland Sea. After visiting the shrine, you’ll have free time to explore the island’s charming streets, visit local shops, and taste regional specialties such as grilled oysters and momiji manju pastries. After visiting this magical place, take the ferry back to Hiroshima, this will be the end of the tour for those who have selected the option that visits only Miyajima. For those who have chosen the option that includes both Hiroshima and Miyajima, the tour will continue to the next destination.

This park serves as a reminder of the events of August 6, 1945, and symbolizes the city’s dedication to peace. You will have time to walk through the park, reflect on its significance, and take in the powerful atmosphere of this historic location.
After an enriching experience in Hiroshima, the tour concludes at Hiroshima Station, where you can continue your journey or explore more of the city at your leisure. You’ll leave with a deeper appreciation of Hiroshima’s history and the natural beauty of Miyajima Island.

The guide will be there waiting with a sign of Amigo Tours.

A good value for money tour. The same basic package is available from a number of suppliers who all follow the same route so shop around. It's very much a herding tour, off of bus, onto ferry, back on bus. Walk around a tourist town (expensive souvenirs and food) get back on bus etc. We had a knowledgable guide who was most helpful and also spoke Spanish
I had good time when I was make reservations I was little bit worried because of I need public transportation to meeting point which is far away from city. But I made it. When I met my tour guide I was happy to see him. It was raining day . I was worried about weather but it turns up nice day not sunny and not much hot. I seen couple of places which I was always want see it. During lunch time my tour guide recommend eel over rice which is famous this area. It was delicious. When my tour ends heavy rain start back to city.
Angeles was a wonderful guide. She was knowledgable and positive and shared beautiful sentiments about peace throughout the day. We thought the time spent in both locations was perfect and we were able to see and experience everything we had hoped to. Great end to our Japan trip.
We enjoyed visiting Miyajima and Hiroshima Peace Memorial. Our guide, Angeles, was courteous and knowledgeable about the history of the sites. She also recommended places to visit and local specialists to try.
This is a great tour. Plenty of free time to explore and enjoy Miyajima. Angeles is a great guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. Transportation was excellent. Visiting the museum is a must do!

Ángeles was an amazing guide. She was full of information and was very enthusiastic. She continuously checked in with everyone to made sure they are okay. She is very friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and passionate. We really enjoyed the tour with her. We had a lot of time at the sights visited and didn’t feel rushed. Highly recommend!
