This is a cycling guided tour in which participants ride an electric bicycle and hear the story of the reconstruction of the bombed heritage sites and how we are trying to protect peace in the city of Hiroshima. The tour is led by a friendly team from Hiroshima. This tour is an English guided tour. ・Learn about local feelings towards the Peace Park from about 70 years ago. ・The area within a 2.5km radius from the hypocenter was severely damaged. We are heading to multiple bombed heritage sites that still remain. ・You will ride a comfortable electric bicycle to the local area, which is not only known for the Hiroshima Peace Museum. ・We will take you to unique places well-known by the local Japanese team. ・We will ride along the beautiful riverside and in the park to get an idea of the destruction of Hiroshima at that time and how it has changed into what it is now.

[11:05/15:05] Peace Memorial Park What is the Peace Memorial Park? Learn about the memories contained in the monuments and the Atomic Bomb Dome and what happened 70 years ago.
[12:00/16:00] Did you know that there is still a train running today that survived the atomic bombing, known as the A-Bombed Streetcars?The guide will show you the actual townscape of Hiroshima in the suburbs away from the touristic area. You will find beautiful Hiroshima vigorously revived from the tremendous damages by the atomic bombing while visiting numerous A-bomb heritage sites and listening to the episodes handed down in Hiroshima.
[13:00/ 17:00] The tour finishes at the meeting point. *You will be given data of the photos taken on the day. *The timetable may change depending on the situation on the day.

- If you are late for the meeting time without prior notice, the tour will be cancelled. In such cases, a 100% cancellation fee will be incurred on the day of the tour and is non-refundable.

- Participation requirements ： Adult bicycle (electric): Height 145 cm or more
- Bicycle with seat for children (electric) : Infants' ride here are free of charge.
- Children's bicycle (cross bike type): 2 Children's bicycles* for one booking are available. Children under age 15 can use both children's bicycles and adult bicycles at child rate. (For children of height 110 cm to 145 cm)
- Bicycle with seat for infants (electric) and Children's bicycle (cross bike type) are limited, so please contact us before making a reservation if you wish.
- Bicycles with seats for children (electric) are for children under 22 kg and under 115 cm.
- If the number of seats for infants and children's bicycles are full reserved, children of heights who cannot use adult bicycles may not be able to participate. After making a reservation, we will contact you after checking the stock of the bicycle.

- It will be a mixed tour for up to 10 people.
- The timetable may change depending on the situation on the day.

- As this is a shared tour, if there are guests in other groups who are not accustomed to cycling, especially children, we will adjust the pace accordingly. We appreciate your understanding.
- Insurance available: Insurance for bicycle accidents (included in price)
- If the plan cannot be held due to rain, you can choose to change to the Rainy Day Limited Peace Route or refund the tour. Please select a suitable option.
- The tour can be changed to a walking tour for rainy days only. Visit the hypocenter, which was reduced to scorched earth in an instant. Walk around the site with a radius of about 0.5 km to 1 km. If you do not wish to change it, we will offer a refund.

Relaxed pace tour, very informative Tour guide was very nice
We had a lovely afternoon with lovely Shiro who gave us a great experience on the bikes, providing a good narrative on the history of Hiroshima. I would recommend!
We had an amazing tour with Shiro! He was so friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The bikes were comfortable and easy to use. He had so much information to share with us and our two teens on our tour. It was absolutely the highlight of our 2 week Japan trip for me!
This cycle tour was so touching. Real experience with a local who was very informative but also managed to make the tour light hearted and fun. High recommend this tour.
Shiro was a wonderful guide. We were deeply impressed by his personal story and by Hiroshima itself.
Wonderfully engaging tour with Shiro. His family story is moving and his knowledge and understanding of what happened in August 1945 is both interesting to listen to and hard to take in, as his family was in Hiroshima when the bomb dropped. Book the tour and ask lots of questions. He is so humble and it is a honour to listen to him. The bike ride itself is gentle.
Karl was awesome! He taught me so much about the Memorial Peace Park and the other areas affected by the atomic bomb. The bikes allowed us to go explore further areas compared to a walking tour. It was a very moving experience and I definitely recommend it!

Great tour that kept 3 college kids and parents entertained and engaged. Karl is knowledgeable and brought up history that is not as well known.
Was a great tour, the tour guide (Shiro) was great, he had extensive knowledge and facts that we may not have found out without him. The tour sites were very cool and interesting. 2hrs was perfect length of time, not too long not too short. Thankyou Shiro!
