A lovely day out, visiting some of Margaret Rivers many food and wine focused attractions. I loved that this tour celebrated local providors and smaller family owned wineries. Loved the pick up and drop off at our door, and really enjoyed lunch.
Great to read this Jenni! I'm happy to know you enjoyed the connection to our people - local producers and family businesses, and lunch. And pick-up/drop-off, of course we always do everything to ensure you have not only a fun and entertaining day, but also a most pleasant one.
An excellent day trip. We were picked up on time from our accommodation address and discovered we were a small group of five people. Breakfast with alpaca and emu feeding was fun and we headed off to the first of our three wineries shortly afterwards. Dani (our guide) gave a brief history of the area and a more detailed history of the wineries we visited. There were plenty of wines to sample. Lunch was very good at the Italian Olio Bello which makes a huge range of olive oils and other products. Two more wineries in the afternoon and then return to home. Throughout it all we established a good rapport with Dani and our fellow travellers. I would thoroughly recommend this trip and All About Margaret River for organising and running the day so efficiently.
So good to read this, thank you very much for sharing your experience with us!
Excellent leadership, very attentive, will take care of the traveler's listening ability, reduce speaking speed, first-class!
Communication is essential to learning and getting the best out of this experience. We have a very multilingual team, but naturally we can't speak every language. Yet, of course we go above and beyond to ensure everyone feels comfortable and can understand. Thank you very much for sharing, and I'm happy you enjoyed your tour with us!
Pick up on time, Dani was so knowledgeable and fun and gave so many interesting facts. The itinerary was varied and fun (even though we had rain). Small group made it so we could all get to know each other . ( we had 7). Time went by quickly and we saw so many local establishments. We never felt rushed. Italian lunch had huge portions and there were many wines to sample at the three wineries . There was also chocolate and olive oil tastings. Ziggy communicated promptly. When one wine merchant gave us the wrong bottle which was delivered to the van, Dani handled it quickly and the wine merchant said they would send the. correct one the next day. We would gladly do more tours with this company!
Even when weather plays against, Margaret River has a way to make it a positive addition to the day. And as I always say, it suits red wine ☺️. Hope to see you on another tour some time soon Jane!
Thanks Dani for a fabulous day and making everything so wonderful. Can't recommend this tour enough.
Yes Kathleen, we all agree, Dani is the best!! Fantastic ambassador of Margaret River
We had a great time today on our wine tour. Ziggy was professional, very informative and we would highly recommend a tour with him. The wineries and lunch choices were all very enjoyable.
Thank you for sharing Daphne! We do put a lot into selecting producers who best represent Margaret River's wine and gastronomy, keeping it local and intimate. I'm glad to know you appreciated this.
Our Hidden Gems tour of Margaret River and surrounding area was nothing short of sensational! Ziggy was an exceptional host, guide and fount of local knowledge. The effort he has put in to curating this tour, getting to know all the local partners that he visits - including a farm experience, the chocolate factory, wineries and lunch spot - is testament to his passion for this region. It is clear from the friendships he has formed with these local businesses that they are one close knit family invested in the promotion and betterment of this gorgeous area. More than 5 stars for the morning scone, excellent lunch and insight into not just the region and its many local producers, but Ziggy’s own story and experiences! Highly recommended!!
I love to read reviews that explain the experience better than I would. This is why it means so much that you share your experience exactly as you lived it. Thank you so much!!
Such a beautiful, cruisy day! I loved the farm visit and that the tour supported local wineries which made it feel really authentic. Everything was relaxed, well organised with great people. Ziggy was wonderful! A lovely way to spend the day. Thank you!
You said it Elena, staying authentic is our key to an experience that you'll keep in your memories
Great itinerary. Our guide Ziggy was really knowledgeable and gave us great insights throughout the day. Good group size as well, ours was 6 people total. Definitely will recommend to friends
Small group makes a big difference! Cheers Shaun 👍
I would highly reccomend this tour. Greg was an amazing tour guide and had a wealth of knowledge. The wineries were visited were awesome and the lunch was a great spot.
I agree, Gregg is a lot more than just a tour guide. I say he is an open book. Just not sure if it's a best-seller novel, an encyclopedia, or both 😅. But with no doubt, a master in what he does. Thank you for sharing Jane
