By Coach: 07:30 am. Check in at River City Shopping Complex – Sipraya Pier 08:00 am. Depart from Bangkok by air - conditioned coach to Ayutthaya province. 09:15 am. Arrive Ayutthaya the world heritage ancient city. Former capital of Thailand (B.E.1350 - 1767). Ayutthaya was declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 1991, December 13.
One of the most amazing Buddha’s head in the root of the Bodhi tree, also it was the royal monastery and served as the residence of the supreme monk in the early Ayutthaya period.
The largest and the most important temple with in the Royal palace compound in Ayutthaya, and also it is the prototype of the Grand palace and temple of the emerald Buddha in Bangkok.
Located next to WAT PHRA SRI SANPHET. There is a large bronze Buddha image which was originally enshrined in the open area outside the royal monastery and later covered by this chapel.
it is believed to be built in the middle phase of Ayutthaya Era. It is also believed that there had been a pantheon built to shelter the Buddha image but the pantheon was destroyed. The Buddha image has been renovated many times, especially in A.D. 1954 and A.D. 1989, until the Buddha image looks completely beautiful.
By Cruise: 01:00 pm. Welcome on board to Grand Pearl Cruiser at WAT CHONG LOM (Pathum Thani province) for cruising back to Bangkok along the Chao Praya River. Superb buffet lunch which includes a delight variety of oriental and western cuisines will be served. The cruise passes through Nonthaburi pier, Koh Kret (Mon’s community) and local Thai villages. 03:00 pm. Coffee break will be served while you enjoy the enchanting sights along the riverbanks such as the Royal barges house, Thammasart University, The Royal Grand Palace, Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) etc. 04:00 pm. Arrive at the River City Pier Shopping Complex.

Don't use Viatour, check who runs activity then go to them direct, Eg Viatour confirmed this tour, sent E-ticket, then at 9.00pm night prior got msg from operator saying activity did not run on day booked. (Next day just got msg from Vuatour askkng for review even though cancelled). Cancellation messed our plans up completely and not the first time with Viatour, now use GetYourGuide whenever we can. Operator allowed switch to another day. In the event rated tour 3 out of 5, fairly good coach, ok but not brilliant guide, Boat was absolutely nothing like the one in the picture, buffet was ok at best, to call boat trip "return by biat" a joke, boarding point was 2/3 of way back to Bangkok! Was long enough on boat though
