We had a great time on this cruise. First, the communication with the company was fantastic. They reached out to me several times to confirm our reservation and set up a pick up which was a short walk from our French Quarter stay. We took a nice comfortable bus to Halong Bay about 3 hours away. We did stop an hour into the trip at a bamboo/silk shop/cafe w no obligation to buy. The boat was great…like the one in the pic. Buffet was served with a wide variety of foods. Then we took a rowboat through the caves, used the water slide, made spring rolls. had some dessert, and watched some bamboo dancing. We docked at about 5:30 before heading back. The boat staff was kind and attentive. Ms. Linh was very sweet. Overall this was a great trip.
