Heart of the Dolomites starting from Cortina d'Ampezzo

Do not book this.!!! I would give this a zero rating because the tour company did not show up for the tour ! Ruined our day. Too late to book anything else .

I only give it 1 star because there was no option for 0 stars. The driver/guide never showed up. There was no communication despite my callings and messaging multiple times. It ruined one day of vacation. I prepaid as required and now have to do who knows what to get my money back. I will never get the missed experience or lost vacation day back.

We had booked this trip and received confirmation for a day seeing lakes and mountains of the Dolomites. Waited at meeting spot for Taxi Cortini Sci, who never showed. Learned from another tour driver that the company is out of business. Wow. Thankfully we connected with Bruno D Andrea NCC for a tour the next day…he was wonderful. Hoping a refund will be received for the disappointing no show Taxi Cortini Sci.

We had a fantastic private tour of the Dolomites from Cortina with our driver Andrés. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, comfortable, and memorable. Andrés was friendly, helpful, and very professional. He shared local insights, drove safely through the beautiful mountain roads, and took us to stunning viewpoints we wouldn’t have found ourselves. A highlight was the restaurant he recommended for lunch — delicious food with breathtaking views! It truly made our day special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Dolomites. Annarita was FANTASTIC!! My husband and I booked Taxi Cortina Sci on four separate occasions. We booked Annarita for the transfers to Cortina from Venice and from Cortina to Venice Mestre Train station. We also booked her company for the Heart of the Dolomites and Lakes of the Dolomites Tours. The driver she provided for the transfer from Venice to Cortina was extremely kind, spoke good English and had pointed out historical landmarks along the way. Throughout our time with this company, we were driven in a spotless, very comfortable, air-conditioned Mercedes. Annarita accompanied us on both the tours and on the transfer from Cortina to Venice. The communication with Annarita was outstanding! Communication prior to our transfers and tours were excellent! It was wonderful meeting her and we would strongly recommend booking Taxi Cortina Sci!! She made our trip to Cortina so very memorable.

Excellent service! We had a group of 24 persons and Annarita and her team transported us to day hikes. They were very flexible, but also everything went exactly as spoken. We couldn’t be more happier that we chose them to our parter to explore the Dolomites. The Taxis were extremely clean and tidy and very new as well. We will choose them again when we come back.

Annarita from Cortina Taxi Sci was fantastic! Great communication throughout the journey, she adapted to our flexible plans and even helped us improvise a new route that suited us perfectly. It was a beautiful experience thanks to Andrea and Annarita. The weather was quite pleasant (luckily). It was interesting to see the varying landscapes (complete white followed by greenery and back to snow...) all along the way and get to know interesting facts about the surrounding region. The road has many twists and turns (as expected in such areas) - just something to keep it mind. The tour itself was very well organized and executed. Highly recommended if you're looking for a similar experience.

Our driver, Devid, was a very pleasant man who drove us with exceptional care around “hundreds” of switch back, hairpin turns! No words to describe the beauty and majesty of the Italian Alps! Because we were so wanting to see an alpine lake that was not frozen, (lakes not on this tour), Devid took us a few minutes outside Cortina to see a restaurant on a little lake full of trout! The only suggestion would be to provide water to clients.
