In this self-guided mystery walk, you follow Alice through Sydney's most haunted streets to uncover who murdered Thomas. Decode clues at the convict barracks where 1,700 men once slept in lice-infested hammocks. Walk the Forgotten Songs laneway, then descend into The Rocks to investigate Australia's most haunted hotel, an 1840s opium den, and a pub with a secret smuggling tunnel. The route passes the Dead House where the Shark Arm Murder was investigated, the Merchant's House where a strangled wife still walks, and ruins where a ghost matches her 1831 murder description exactly. Real hauntings fuel every stop. With 11 stops across 100 minutes from Hyde Park to the Harbour Bridge, this is Sydney's most complete ghost walk, best after dark. The tour was fantastic! While I am a Sydney sider we went to places we would never have found on our own. A few of my favourite's spots were 'Angel Place,' and ' the doss.' We stopped and had a chat to some of the hotel staff. Useful tips: *A 'turret' is the round cone like shape that you often see on castles. *At the last stop if you have trouble climbing up all the stairs, there is a lift about 15m away that can take you up to the bridge. We also loved the puzzles it made you pay more attention to the places we were visiting.

This was such a neat virtual mystery/ghost tour. We decided to do the tour at night, so it was even spookiest. There is alot of walking, but it was fun. We would probably recommend this for age 10+ due to the scary stories.

We played this game as a small group a few nights ago and we all had so much fun!! The challenges were tricky but not impossible, and the route took us through some fascinating hidden spots in The Rocks. The best bit was learning about all the ghost stories and buildings where ghosts can still be found today. It had just the right amount of spookiness! Everyone enjoyed the storyline as well. It was really well written. We played the game at night, but it could easily be done during the day as well.

Even though I'm a Sydney local, this tour taught me so much I didn't know about my city. I had no idea that some of the buildings I've walked past hundreds of times had such gruesome stories attached to them! The directions were easy to follow and the challenges added a fun element. It was a great way to spend a couple of hours.
