Itinerary
The Liceu Opera House is an architectural marvel cursed by a cycle of disaster that strikes every twenty years. Nearby, in the gritty streets of Raval, you’ll hear about Barcelona’s most infamous serial killer.
Raval was never a glamorous neighbourhood, but the pickpockets of today have got nothing on Barcelona’s most infamous serial killer.
Stare at this Gothic Basilica and uncover the story of one fateful pact that met a terrible end. In the nearby streets of El Call, discover a legend of love, lies, and poison at the Alchemist’s House.
In the heart of the Jewish quarter sits an unassuming house that is home to a legend of love, lies, and poison.
Barcelona’s most iconic bridge holds a sinister secret. Whatever you do, don’t look up.
In this narrow corner of the Gothic Quarter, you’ll learn about Barcelona’s patron saint and how she met a brutal end after enduring torture.
Step into this humble square and stare at the scarred facade of the church as you hear about the horrors of the Franco Regime and Spanish Civil War. The whispers of spirits may still cling to these walls.
Behind the Cathedral, stone creatures carved to ward off evil spirits aren’t all what they seem. At King’s Square, a former Inquisition execution site, the horrors beneath your feet tell a chilling story.
This gorgeous palace is a popular spot for photo ops but once you learn about the bloody executions that took place here during the Spanish Inquisition, you might think twice before grabbing the camera.
When you see the faces, you might be closer to fun than you realise.
The tour continues through El Born, past a poet’s apartment where paranormal rituals took place, and to the Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar, where a bride’s scream still echoes. The grand finale awaits at Passeig del Born.
This stunning basilica is the site of many weddings, and here you’ll learn why they say, “Till death do us part.”
Just 10 minutes up the road, a hotel manager was hungry for more than just money…
