Surrounded by a serene forest of over 100,000 trees, you’ll learn about Shinto traditions as you explore the shrine’s pristine grounds. Pause to admire the main hall, where visitors offer prayers for good fortune. Marvel at the centuries-old sake barrels, an homage to Japan’s vibrant cultural customs. Capture the essence of spiritual harmony as you stroll the peaceful pathways, and take a moment to write personal wishes on wooden ema plaques. This immersive experience offers a deeper appreciation for Japanese history, architecture, and the enduring reverence of nature—creating a memorable journey of cultural discovery.
Takeshita Street in Harajuku is a lively, colorful place full of fun shops, quirky fashion, and sweet treats. As you walk down this famous pedestrian street, you’ll find unique clothing and accessories that highlight Tokyo’s youth culture. Stop by the popular crepe stands or try some fluffy pancakes—perfect for a quick snack. Many shops also feature anime and “kawaii” (cute) items, making it a great spot for fans of Japanese pop culture. Don’t forget to snap a picture in one of the photobooths along the way! With its energetic crowd and playful vibe, Takeshita Street shows off the bold creativity that makes Harajuku a must-see destination.
Mipig Café in Harajuku is a cozy spot where you can enjoy coffee or tea while meeting adorable miniature pigs. These tiny, friendly pigs wander around the café, welcoming gentle pats and playful interaction with visitors. The staff ensures the pigs are safe, comfortable, and well cared for, making the experience fun for everyone. I had an incredible tour with Atsuko, who brought everything to life with her deep local knowledge, cultural insights, and thoughtful explanations. Exploring Meiji Shrine, along with its surrounding gardens and forest, felt truly special. Atsuko created such a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, and the entire experience was peaceful, grounding, and unforgettable.
Thank you so much for these kind words! Atsuko will be thrilled to read them. Meiji Shrine has a quiet magic that's easy to miss without the right guide, and we're so glad her stories helped you feel that calm and connection. It was a real pleasure hosting you in Tokyo — we hope to welcome you back someday for another peaceful walk through the city. Safe travels!
We had an amazing time on this tour. Our guide Yui was amazing, very kind, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. We thoroughly recommend Yui and the tour company. We went to see the cat cafe, as we had gone to a pig Cafe in Yokohama. The cats were well cared for and it was great to see them all and watch them getting fed.
Thank you so much for the wonderful review! I’m really happy to hear you had an amazing time with Yui—she truly enjoyed guiding you as well. It was great that we could visit the cat café together after your pig café experience in Yokohama! The cats were so adorable and well cared for. Hope to see you again on your next trip to Japan!
Pigs were friendly and cute 🥰 I really enjoyed it. Wish I could buy em all. I want to visit there again someday very soon 🔜

So adorable! Wanted to take them home so bad! Wish I could try out the other animal cafes on Takeshita street as well!
