Hanoi Vespa Tours: Full Day Hanoi City & Countryside Vespa Tours

At the beginning of our Hanoi vintage Vespa tour, our guide and drivers from Asia Motorbike Adventures will meet you at your hotel. They will provide a safety briefing and a detailed itinerary of our journey.

After the safety briefing and itinerary overview, we embark on an exhilarating ride to discover Hanoi's landmarks and hidden gems, rich in culture and history. Riding on vintage Vespa bikes, we venture through narrow backstreets that are inaccessible to cars or buses. We begin by passing through Dong Xuan, the largest market in the old quarter, and continue towards the Long Bien Bridge. This iconic symbol of Vietnam's capital was built over 100 years ago during the colonial era.

As we leave Long Bien Bridge, we venture into the serene banana and vegetable farming area of Red River Island. Riding through lush green rice paddies and off the beaten path, we reach a dirt road that leads us to the Co Loa citadel temple. This historical site not only offers stunning scenery but also provides insight into Vietnam's rich history. The temple's legend dates back to 300 BC and is associated with the country's defense against foreign invaders, as well as its establishment. Along the way, we will have ample opportunities to stop and capture photos of the picturesque surroundings and observe locals working on their farms.

After exploring the countryside, we make our way back to Hanoi and stop at a local restaurant for lunch. Here, we indulge in some authentic Vietnamese cuisine, accompanied by a cup of local egg coffee.

We make a quick stop at West Lake, the largest lake in Hanoi, to snap some photos before continuing our motorbike journey. Zigzagging through the narrow alleys, we pas by the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and head towards the legendary reunification train track.

Passing through the fascinating highlights such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, Ba Dinh square, Literature temple, Tran Quoc Temple , West Lake, Truc Bach Lake, Hoan Kiem Lake , Opera House…

On our vintage Vespa bikes, we immerse ourselves in the bustling atmosphere of the city, starting with a ride through a lively local market to experience the sights, sounds, and smells of Hanoi. Next, we make our way to Ngoc Ha flower village to visit Huu Tiep Lake. Here, we can see the remains of an American B-52 aircraft that was shot down during the Christmas bombing in 1972.

Our journey takes us to the hundred-year-old Reunification train track that runs through the heart of Hanoi. Here, we witness how local residents live just centimeters away from the track. This is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the local side of bustling and vibrant Hanoi.

Visit an ancient temple and pagoda, as well as a 200-year-old traditional house with privately owned Bonsai gardens that belong to a war veteran, and have a chat about their daily life over a cup of tea.
