Hanoi Unique Silver RING/PENDANT... Making Workshop

The experience was very interesting and is worth it. The group is quite small so every member of the crew can explain well and take time with each and every one of them. The staff is very friendly and explains everything, making every-y one participate. It's a good way to craft a unique memory from Hanoi !

I took my own design to make a ring. The teacher guided me all along. Gave me a helping hand at all critical moments. Everything was clearly explained. The whole experience was fun, engaging and satisfying. At the end of the class, I had the ring exactly as I had designed. The teacher and I were both very happy with the ring.

What a fantastic experience! We wanted to do something a little different while still supporting the local artisans, and found Silver Soul just 10 minutes from our hotel in the Old Quarter. Huyen was a superb teacher, patient and incredibly funny. You get the choice of making a pendant, ear rings or rings with 5g of silver, with options on size, texture and customisation - we went with the standard technique so that we could spend a few hours in air con without losing too much of the morning. Took us about 2 hours to make a ring in our own design and they mean a lot more knowing there is nothing else like them in the world. Definitely one for creative travellers who want to take a one of a kind piece home. Thank you for a great memory!

You got to choose the width of your ring, the texture and design. You then got to use a hammer it into shape, torch it to seal it together and then it was put in a “bath” to bring out the shine. The instructor was great had lots of energy and what a fun little memento from Hanoi.

The owner and staff have wonderful humor and will help you achieve a beautiful result. You can also buy very special rings and other silver jewellry handcrafted in traditional vietnamese style.
