I had the best time with Minh who I found via TikTok. We walked around the old town and down tiny alleys I never would have on my own. Delicious dishes and sweet treats! Minh was really knowledgeable, spoke great English and I loved his super dry sense of humour 🥰
We loved our food tour with Patrick!!! Was here on our honeymoon and Patrick went above and beyond to bring us to the best places and took so many photos for us!!! It really gave the feel of being a local as we were the only tourists in the restaurants. Tried ~7 different dishes and all were excellent!! Our highlight in Hanoi!!!
Thanks to Minh, the tour was fantastic. Fun, local, yummy, little surprises down tiny lanes and catered for my coeliac disease perfectly with great gluten free options (I mainly ate the same as everyone else too 😊). Just 5 of us for about 3h, great value.
Minh was a wonderful guide, very funny and full of insight on the food and culture of his city and country. Every dish was delicious, some ‘transcendental’! Lots of recommendations for further exploration of food places and places of interest in Hanoi and beyond. We met 3 others in the group and all shared a very good evening, excellent food, great company and lots of laughter. Thank you Minh and good luck with your TikTok x from Doug and (no peanuts) Rachel
Ricky took us around 6 spots in Hanoi Old Quarter including the Train Street, where we had a drink as the very long train went a meter past our face (it's a very long train). The food was spectacular with a wide variety of local dishes. The first stop was a noodle soup dish, where Ricky explained how to eat the noodle with the broth. Now I understand the slurping as honestly it changes everything. There was also flavoured meats on sticks, pancake/springroll, banh mi, mango, dried coconut and home made ice cream. No one went hungry. Very good tour, with lots to see, knowledgeable guide who will give you a list of great places to eat for the rest of your stay. I would recommend taking this tour at the beginning of any trip to Hanoi to really get a good understanding of the culinary delights on offer. Ricky will go out of his way to help you.
We had an amazing time on this food tour! Our guide was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the local food and culture. Every stop was carefully chosen, and we learned so much while enjoying delicious food. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting!
What a great experience! Ricky was very knowledgeable, took us to some great places where the food was very special. A must- do when visiting Hanoi.
Visit to a snake farm followed by a tasting of 10 snake-based dishes at a specialized restaurant in Le Mat! So many discoveries and memories.... Thank you Ricky for this exceptional experience 👍🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Our guide Ricky was super funny and friendly! We had a lot of fun!
Ricky was very informative and friendly. He took us to a great range of places to eat and paced the tour well. It was a great way to visit local stalls and restaurants that we may not have known to visit by ourselves. Ricky explained the history and culture of the different foods. Thank you Ricky.
