Surrounded by green as far as the eye can see, we will take you through the lush farmland of Northern Vietnam. We hire and train women to work for our company to help and support women to have more work opportunity. As is always our style here at Motorbike City Tours, we'll take you off the beaten path to get a glimpse into the lives of the locals that only a local themselves can show you! Top of the line comfortable Lead scooters equiped with PASSENGER BACKRESTS for secured and you feel like you are in a lounge chair, not hanging on tightly as some bikes you may do. Itinerary
Our mainly female drivers and tour guide of Motorbike City Tours will meet you at your hotel lobby for a safety briefing and detailed itinerary of your journey. We use a fleet of brand new Honda Lead scooters equipped with PASSENGER BACKRESTS for comfort, you feel like you are in a lounge chair, not hanging on tightly as some bikes you may do.
The first stage of our Hanoi Motorbike Tours, we ride out of Hanoi across the historic Long Bien bridge and along the bank of the Red River. Cooling breezes off the water make for a pleasant drive along the roads as you get to view the scenic countryside as the noise from the city fades into the background. Our first stop is an 800 year old village that embodies a beautiful historic example of one of the traditional villages that used to populate the Vietnamese countryside. Housed there you will get to see the old village gate, pagoda, temple, and communal house. As we explore the village, you’ll see the thriving life within, and see how to locals work, play, and pray. You’ll be introduced to a local family and join them for some tea and candy with your guide acting as a translator.
The second stage of our Hanoi Motorbike Tours, we cruise through the expansive rice paddies and venture off the beaten path onto the dirt roads leading to Co Loa Citadel where we will teach you more of the rich Vietnamese history in the surrounding areas and how Vietnam defended itself from invaders dating back to 300 B.C.E.
On third stage of our Hanoi Motorbike Tours, you’ll be taken through the zig-zagging village alleys as we arrive at the heart of the local farmland. Agriculture is still a thriving part of the Vietnamese economy, and nothing exemplifies this more clearly than exploring the thriving farmland near the villages. We will sit by a peaceful countryside pond, enjoy a refreshing drink, and take in the tranquil scenery around us
The last stage of our Hanoi Motorbike Tours concludes with a visit to an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Here you’ll get to enjoy fresh Vietnamese cuisine with diverse traditional dishes and local specialties and get your caffeine fix with unique Vietnamese egg coffee or enjoy yummy Mango Pudding and Caramel dessert in place popular with locals. We will drop you off back to your hotel, or a place within reasonable distance within Hanoi.

I went on about four different tours in Hanoi, and this might be the best tour. My guide Emma was really great and we are not very good at English, but she spoke slowly and clearly throughout, sometimes using her phone translation, which was very impressive. It made me feel good from start to finish without any extra anxiety. The distance is also exquisite, kind yet natural. I felt that the balance was good and professional. The drivers, Thu and Thoi, were also very friendly and always looked out for us while we were on the road. Even when it rained on the way, they were quick to provide raincoats, and I was impressed by the speed of their response and casual attention. I think it is in these details that the quality of the tour as a whole is shown. Above all, it was safe driving and I was able to leave it to them with peace of mind in the chaos of Hanoi city. The tour was very good, and they showed us around the idyllic landscapes of Hanoi, some places we would never go. It not only efficiently travels to the so-called sightseeing spots, but also makes your trip even more memorable with a proper experience of Hanoi's outer charms. The food is very good and I think this price is a little too low for the firm content so far. It wasn’t just “fun”, it was a tour that will be remembered. If I have the opportunity to visit Hanoi next time, I would definitely like to participate in a city tour. Thank you so much for a wonderful day.

We did this tour on 10 Nov 2025. Unfortunately on the day of our tour, it was raining heavily and it was a Sunday too. We were all soaked although we have free raincoats on. Its definitely a ‘Don’t do it’ as its too dangerous riding a scooter in heavy rain and nothing much to view or take photos. Things to do and see is all outdoors in the village but due to weather conditions we wade through flooded path and it was not what we saw in photos / read in Tripadvisor reviews. The fruit orchard was missing too. The 3 stars given were for the riders who sent us back safely to Hanoi Opera House.

We cannot expect 365 days of sunshine; just like hands have short and long fingers, some days are sunny and some are rainy. If every day were sunny, life on earth would be extremely difficult! What happens if it rains? + We run our tours rain or shine, and provide high-quality rain ponchos to all visitors. Please keep the adventure spirit on our excursions. + If it rains heavily during the tour, we take a break for drinks or coffee, and continue once the rain stops. Despite the weather, our lady drivers tried their best to carry out your tour normally and ensure your safety. + You requested a 50% refund. We agreed as a gesture of goodwill, even though the tour still operated with full staff, drivers, vehicles, and expenses. Thank you so much for your understanding. Have a great day! Wonderful experience from start to finishing, the guide Hoa and out wonderful drivers sunny and Lucy looked after us , they spoke excellent English and where very attentive and nothing was to much trouble, we are both 65yrs plus and the bikes where really comfortable, we where shown so much and finished with a wonderful lunch

Great value for money. Our drivers were very friendly and professional. We started with lunch and then went to visit women who make brooms, had tea and then visited a temple before meeting a vet and his bonsai. We also travelled around rice fields and over the oldest bridge in Hanoi. Driver gave us a lot of information as we travelled around the countryside. Definitely worth it.

Looking back at the time I spent in Vietnam this tour now stands out as a definitive highlight of that trip. Above all other touristic – though surely beautiful – places, above the cities, national parks and beaches. Just an amazing quick but wholesome dip into a Vietnam vibe with its morning haze over the rice fields, outskirt places and – over all – genuinely nice and beautiful people.
