After a convenient hotel pickup, hop on a motorbike and savor complimentary dishes like Banh Cuon (steamed roll cake), Bun Cha (grilled pork with vermicelli noodles), freshly grilled seafood and some different Hanoian version of Pho and banana salads and other traditional Vietnamese dishes. 18:00 Our mainly female drivers and tour guide of Motorbike City Tours will meet you at your hotel lobby for a safety briefing and detailed itinerary of your journey. We use a fleet of brand new Honda Lead scooters equipped with passenger backrests for comfort, you feel like you are in a lounge chair, not hanging on tightly as some bikes you may do. The first stage of our Hanoi By Night Foodie Motorbike Tours, we stop at local eatery Hanoians claim is the best spot for Banh Cuon (steamed rolled cake) in town. The skilled chef will demonstrate for us how the ingredients are put together as we get to experience a front row seat to the culinary process. Our tour continues weaving through the streets bathed in the glow of colorful lanterns and decorative lights in the Old Quarter as we ride along the bank of the Red River to take in the views of Hanoi under the cover of night.

The second stage of our Hanoi By Night Foodie Motorbike Tours leads us to one of Hanoi’s most prominent family run restaurants where you will get to enjoy Bun Cha( grilled pork with vermicelli noodle). You’ll be taken on a ride over to West Lake to enjoy the scenery before arriving at Ngu Xa village to try Freshly grilled seafood and some different Hanoian version of Pho and Banana salads and other traditional Vietnamese dishes.

The third stage of our Hanoi By Night Foodie Motorbike Tours, you will be taken past the Ho Chi Minh memorial where guards can be seen performing their nightly ceremonies. Nothing captures the reverence and sanctity that the Vietnamese hold for Ho Chi Minh more than these nightly ceremonies. Following, we will head into the densely packed streets of Hanoi to the train tracks where locals cook, relax, and sell their wares. It is a bustling alley full of locals going about their nightly lives, right next to active train tracks!

The last stage of our Hanoi By Night Foodie Motorbike Tours winds down with a stop to a popular cafe to try the famous Vietnamese egg coffee and a top secret desert which you only know when you travel with us! First invented in 1946, it’s a delicacy of whipped egg yolk with sugar and condensed milk for sweetness, and just a drop of vinegar to fluff the eggs. This is floated on top of a shot of espresso and dusted with cocoa powder. The end result is a coffee experience like no other, and a taste and texture reminiscent of tiramisu. or enjoy yummy Mango Pudding and Caramel dessert in place popular with locals.

Fantastic insights and food with lovely guides

I did this tour with my two daughters (15 and 17). We had a wonderful time with Summi and her team, who took us around the sights of Hanoi, introduced us to delicious food that we would never have found or known how to eat properly, and even took us to a few places to find the shoes my daughter wanted to buy. We felt very safe on the back of the scooters zipping through the crazy, always flowing traffic. Would highly recommend this tour.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience on the Hanoi scooter food tour with Summi, Ali, and An. From the moment we met, they made us feel welcome and looked after throughout the entire evening. Summi was an outstanding guide. Her knowledge of Hanoi, its history, culture, and especially the local food scene really made the tour special. She explained everything with enthusiasm and answered every question with confidence, making the experience both enjoyable and educational. Ali and An were equally wonderful—friendly, professional, and incredibly welcoming. Riding through the streets of Hanoi on the back of the scooters was an unforgettable experience, and I always felt safe in their hands. The food was excellent, with a great variety of authentic local dishes that I probably would never have found on my own. Every stop was thoughtfully chosen and gave us a real taste of Vietnamese cuisine. If you’re visiting Hanoi, I couldn’t recommend this tour highly enough. A must do in Hanoi

Happy and Danna were absolutely amazing! The entire experience from start to finish was expertly done. We felt completely safe navigating the streets of Hanoi and the food was incredible. It was the perfect mix of excitement, good food and history. I've traveled the world and done some exciting things, but this will be a memory we won't soon forget😌 If you do only one thing in Hanoi, do this tour with these lovely ladies and you won't be disappointed ❤️

Ventures and Viet-NOMS

The tour with Linh and Hang was amazing! So nice to be able to see so much more of Hanoi in the evening while relaxing on the back of a motorbike with an experienced driver. All the food stops were delicious. Train street was such a unique experience as well. Linh gave helpful information about the dishes and was lovely to chat with for the evening. Hang also had such cool insights into the history of Vietnam along the way. Would definitely recommend the tour to others visiting Hanoi. Only regret is we didn’t do it sooner in our time there to be repeat customers at the tasty stops.

Motorbike tour 😎

This foodie motorbike tour was the highlight of our trip ❤️ Summi and her team were exceptionally professional, fun and kind!! Summi’s sense of humor and knowledge of Vietnamese culture/history made the tour truly special. The best part was seeing parts of Hanoi outside of the Old Quarter, and getting to know our guides :) We were taken to local institutions which gave a great survey of Northern Vietnamese cuisine and the stories that went along with each dish. Also Summi is a badass and a certified professional photographer 📷 We really appreciated everything they did for us! - Hannah and Ben 🥰

Best experience!

Summi and her team were absolutely amazing!! I got the pleasure of riding with Allie who was so sweet and shared a lot of knowledge of Vietnamese culture. Summi was so funny and taught us so much! I think this is the best way to see the city and learn more about the history and culture through food. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious too!

Amazing time on the motorcycle with Linh!

I had an amazing time on this tour with Linh! She took me all around Hanoi with a great tour of the main sites, and I felt super comfortable and safe on the motorbike. She catered the tour to my dietary preferences, and she made sure I had a great time. It was so nice spending a night in Hanoi on this tour, and I highly recommend it!!
