Meet our guide and drivers at your hotel where they will provide a safety briefing on riding techniques and tips for comfortable seating on the jeep. They will also go over the tour itinerary in detail and inquire about any dietary restrictions. Once everyone is ready, we will head out to explore the streets, visiting the Long Bien historic bridge, a symbol of Hanoian tenacity and resilience.
We'll explore both the famous landmarks and the lesser-known parts of Hanoi on our ride, soaking up the city's rich culture and history. Afterward, we'll enjoy a refreshing glass of Bia Hoi, the national drink, before embarking on a brief cruise to West Lake to experience the cool breeze.
Passing through the fascinating highlights such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, Ba Dinh square, Literature temple, Tran Quoc Temple , West Lake, Truc Bach Lake, Hoan Kiem Lake , Opera House…
We'll zigzag through narrow alleys to Huu Tiep Lake, where an aircraft shot down in 1972 still lies in the middle of a quiet neighborhood. Along the way, we'll stop at a local family's house and chat with the owner, a war veteran, about his fascinating stories about Vietnam from his childhood to modern times. We'll also learn more about Vietnamese culture and customs.
We'll explore the famous train track where locals live just centimeters away. To support the local community and savor authentic dishes, we'll have lunch at family-run eateries where locals love to hang out with friends. Afterwards, we'll stop at a special cafe that has been serving Egg coffee since 1946.

Fun-filled, informative mini afternoon adventure in and around Hanoi - both in the main city and outer areas, including banana island. Saw a different side to Hanoi with knowledgeable, fun and friendly tour guides, Lính and Viet Anh. Finished off with awesome coffee in train street then a local cafe serving new Pha and local foods. This was an amazing tour from start to finish our tour guide Jinny was amazing, she was so very kind, concederate and very knowledgeable, nothing was a problem for her and she was more than happy to answer all questions. The tour its self was fantastic, the sights, the history, oh and the food, the secret spots just great. Pick up was early very professional our driver was very very good driver. I booked this with my hotel (Hotel du Lac Signature). An amazing day! Summi (the guide) and Kai (our driver) were sensational, and extremely knowledgeable. Summi spoke great English and explained the day and events as we went. The food and the experience were wonderful. Highly recommend this for those considering it.

Ginny was a great guide we did the Hanoi insight half day by jeep and the only drawback was we spent too much time on banana Island and didn’t get to see enough of the city of Hanoi, so overall my advice will be to spend less time on banana Island. That said, overall the trip was good and our guide Ginny was very informative spoke excellent English and very easy and fun.

This tour was worth every penny. There was no way I would have had such a great experience trying to do all the activities on my own.
