HANOI INCREDIBLE STREET FOODIE TOUR (Enjoy traditional Cuisine as the local)

Loved this food tour our tour guide Nhat was so fun! We loved all the food we got to true and all the things she pointed out as we walked to the different food places! She took all the fun photos for us and answered all our questions! Love it! Would do again!

Our group had the most amazing experience on this evening-food tour. The food was not only delicious, but came directly from the grill and pots – smoking warm and filled with the most wonderful scents you can imagine. It was a real pleasure to taste the genuine traditional recipes that really captured the essence of the Vietnamese cuisine. The atmosphere was relaxed and we felt really welcome as we explored the local pearls. Each bite was a journey in itself, and the balance between spices and fresh ingredients was perfect. If you want to experience the authentic Vietnam, this tour is an absolute must. A heartwarm and tasteful evening we will late forget.

Food was delicious, experience had a lot to be desired. Started off with the tour guide contacting me about our tour at 8:15am saying that he'd meet us at the location at 11am. Our tour was set to start at 5:30pm. I pointed this out and he realized his mistake and apologized. Fast forward to 5:30. The guide meet us but then said he had to leave to go get other guests. He sat us down in the restaurant and didn't come back for almost 20 minutes. During that time the food was delivered to our table almost immediately after we sat, but we didn't touch it was it's a food tour and usually there's an explanation to accompany the tasting. The food just sat getting cold. The guide returned with two wonderful ladies from the Netherlands. The next stop had amazing noodles... like the best I've ever had. The third was amazing Banh Mi which my son fell in love with. He ended up returning to that location on his own several more times during our trip. The fourth was a type of rice pasta type dish and it was equally amazing. To our surprise the next stop was on train street to watch the famous Hanoi train. The last stop our group opted out of for a few main reasons. We experienced lots of difficulty understanding our guides english. He would say things to us and when he'd walk away we were asking each other what he said. The other reason is there wasn't a "flow" with the tour. Several moments were spent just idling. We'd all be done and we felt perplexed to why we weren't moving along.

Our guide Duy gave us a wonderful evening. He led us through the Old Town and made sure we were safe in the busy traffic. We were in a small group of six people, which made the experience fun and personal. We could ask Duy anything. We made six stops during the tour and we are completely full from all the delicious food! Now we know how the food tastes, but we also learned a lot more about life in Hanoi. Duy is a very enthusiastic guide and we had an amazing experience. We also visited Train Street and afterwards we went to have dessert. It was great! I would definitely recommend this tour with Duy if you are in Hanoi!

Our group of nine friends kicked off our last night in Hanoi with a private food tour, and it was the absolute highlight of our trip! Organizing a large group can be tricky, but our guide, Henry, managed everything flawlessly from the moment we met. He was incredibly energetic, patient, and immediately got the fun, relaxed vibe we were going for. Henry led us through the bustling Old Quarter as the city came alive at night. He navigated the crazy traffic and crowded alleys with ease, bringing us to a series of vibrant, authentic, and sometimes hidden culinary gems that we would have completely missed otherwise. These weren’t the tourist traps; they were the local spots packed with happy customers. We sampled an amazing variety of dishes—from savory roadside grill specialties to the famous egg coffee—each one better than the last. Henry made sure everyone in our diverse group found something they loved and was great at explaining the background of each dish, like the family traditions or the specific ingredients. His passion for the local street food scene was infectious, and he struck the perfect balance between great information and just letting us enjoy the food and the company. The entire evening felt like a festive local immersion, blending incredible flavors with the vibrant chaos of Hanoi after dark. If you have a larger group and want a fun, authentic, and unforgettable way to experience the city's best eats, booking a night tour with Henry is a must. It was truly a five-star culinary adventure!

All the food were delicious and the ingredients were health-affirming. The additional tidbits and background information, aside from those related to food, were enlightening. It was sometimes difficult to understand the guide because of her thick accent and limited English vocabulary, something which she ((Nhat) needs to work on, but on the whole , it was a great experience. She also went out of her way to fulfill our requests within the bounds of our agreement.

Yes Timing was good Duy was a great tour guide & fun to chat with. Sufficient time Pho at a locals home was a cool & quaint experience. We did a private tour. Our first time. Do it! But do it earlier in your stay. We wish we had done it earlier in our stay vs our last night so we could re-visit dishes. Chicken vermicelli Excellent flavour!

Could not recommend enough! Our street foodie tour with guide Noah was the highlight of our visit to Hanoi! Noah was wonderful, friendly & so accommodating! Perfect for all ages, we are three generations travelling together & also pescatarian & it was excellent for all of us!

Had the most fantastic time on this tour! All the food was delicious and there were many dishes we had not tried before the tour! Our guide Duy was absolutely amazing too, he made me and my partner feel right at home, the evening just felt like a night out with a friend which was lovely! He made us feel like real locals and told us many stories about Vietnam and the culture! Truely a great experience!
