We had the BEST time with Trevor, the food was amazing and we learned a lot about the food but also about Vietnam. The food really was delicious!!!
honestly, this amazing cooking class was the highlight of our Vietnam trip. Maxie, our guide, was so incredibly sweet, knowledgeable and helpful, and the dinner we had at the end was absolutely incredible. I'd give it 6 or 7 out of 5 stars if I could, and whenever we are back in Hanoi we'd absolutely book again without a doubt. The facility itself is also beautiful, and we loved having the market tour in the beginning as well! this is an amazing, authentic, and real class for anyone wanting to experience the real Hanoi, and what makes it so special. lots of love, Lara
That was a truly beautiful experience. Trevor really put in a lot of effort. I wouldn't know what could have gone better - it was a perfect afternoon.
Amazing. Interactive, fun and tasty experience. Great guide and location. Higher reccomend
I loved it—thank you so much, Kim! We learned how to cook pho and spring rolls, and we also learned about egg coffee. Kim gives you a lot of information, including cultural and historical background about the food you’re preparing. I’ll definitely go back to try the other activities.
Fantastique! I was lucky enough to be the only student in the class. Collin was so knowledgeable and fun. We made Cha Gio and then the best part- we ate them! A really unique experience. Highly recommend.
very nice experience, would do again!
Thank you Trevor and Kim for hosting the cooking class, lighting cooking class
Good class. Instructor Trevor demystified Pho. He provided just the right amount of information and was a great instructor.
We booked this class specifically to learn how to cook Pho, but the experience was very disappointing. The host was friendly and pleasant, but the content of the class was extremely weak. We were a group of 6 people and spent most of the time just standing around watching. Hands on participation was almost nonexistent. I cut ginger once, and my partner wiped the table once. That was basically our entire involvement during a class that lasted several hours. For a cooking class, this felt surprisingly passive. Watching a YouTube video would probably have been just as informative. The most disappointing part was that the Pho broth, the heart of the dish, was barely explained. The broth had already been prepared beforehand, which makes sense since it needs to simmer for many hours, but there was almost no real discussion of how it is actually made, what techniques matter, or how to achieve a good result. The atmosphere was nice and the host was kind, but if you actually want to learn how to cook Pho, this class offers very little value. Given our experience, it is honestly hard to understand the 5.0 rating
