St Joseph’s Cathedral, or “The Big Church” familiarly called by the locals, is one of the first structures constructed by French colonists during their expansion in Indochina and still intact in Hanoi after two fierce wars.
Resembling the Opéra Palais Garnier, Hanoi Opera House, built in 10 years since 1911 by two French architects. The magnificent building became one of the top landmarks in Hanoi. The Opera House hosts cultural entertaining performances, bamboo cirque, contemporary dance, orchestra concerts and government events. Come to the front gate to check availability and ticket to a performance in this iconic building.

Ben and Elena were wonderful hosts for our culinary adventure in Hanoi. We sampled a great selection of local dishes. Zipping around on motorbikes just added to the thrills. We finished our evening with a stop on Train Street for a coffee. Our young hosts were such sweet and kind individuals. I thoroughly recommend this tour. We left at 6:30pm and were back at 10pm .
We thoroughly enjoyed riding around the streets of Hanoi, visiting places we'd never have tried and dishes we wouldn't have known to order but which provided some of the best food that we tried in Vietnam. We were a variety of ages and sizes but never felt unsafe or uncomfortable on the motorscooters. The tour leader also showed us the neighborhood in which he grew up which was fascinating and a side of the city most tourists would never see but we were really pleased to see an authentic view of life in Hanoi. The food was great and so were the guides. It was personal, the food was outstanding and not touristy - it was exactly what I was looking for. It was a trip to experience and be a part of Hanoi's scooter lifestyle. I would recommend it and do it again.

This was such a fun and informative tour. We were picked up promptly by our guides Tommy and Logan, kitted up and off we went into nighttime Hanoi. We started with the most amazing fried spring rolls and shrimp pancakes and from there mixed eating delicious food with seeing the main sites of The City. The tour lasted about 4 hours and the time flew by. Would definitely repeat.

This was so much fun and so completely delicious. We loved being on the scooters to get around town and the foods were amazing. We also loved that in between the delicious tastings, there were interesting stops at points around town. Our wonderful lead tour guide, Minh, adjusted the tour to avoid repeating some things that we had already seen on a different tour. We were super grateful for that flexibility. We would never have known on our own where to go, what to order, or how to eat some of the foods that were novel to us. We really appreciated the local knowledge.

This kind of food tour is a must do for anyone who wants to experience delicious local food and visit lesser known areas of this beautiful and historic capital of Vietnam. For being first time visitors, my friend and I took this tour on our first day in Hanoi and can only recommend it as a great way to explore the city and sample authentic Vietnamese dishes. Booking was very easy and I was quickly contacted by my friendly guide to confirm all the details. Both guides were very friendly and spoke really good English. After getting picked up from our hotel we went to several historic places, buildings, churches, the railway street and on the way tastes many delicious and unknown dishes. Unfortunately was it raining on and off, but our guides were prepared with raincoats and made the commute safe and dry. This was definitely one of the best experiences of our trip. Excellent tour with Ben and Harry. Ben and Harry did an amazing job showing us the most important sights in Ha Noi. They recommended dishes at the different spots they chose for us. Other than that they gave us historical information about Ha Noi in fluent English and did a great job driving us on their motorbikes through the traffic of Ha Noi. I recommend this tour for everybody , especially in the first days of your visit. You will learn a lot about the traditional food and about the history of the city.
