Upon arriving at the workshop, you will get a presentation on the history and significance of agarwood, the overview of the various uses of agarwood in different cultures. You also will get explanation of the different grades and qualities of agarwood and how agarwood trees are cultivated and harvested. You also will have discussion on sustainable practices in agarwood cultivation and a demonstration of the agarwood extraction process. After that leaning about the tools and techniques used in the traditional and modern agarwood industry.

Review: This was my first time in Vietnam, and attending the agarwood workshop was an unforgettable experience. The workshop not only highlights the incredible work of nature in creating these precious gifts but also showcases the expertise and patience required to carve agarwood into something truly special. After having tea in the tea room, we share for a vegan lunch with the employees. It was like eating with a wonderful group of friends. The care and love reflects in the thoughtful spread and fresh ingredients. Their tofu is the best I have had till date - soft and silky. I would like to make a special mention to Luka, my guide, who was absolutely amazing. He says, I was his first tourist, but you’d never guess it. Luka was punctual, spoke excellent English, and made communication seamless, enhancing the overall experience. If I hadn’t already planned and booked my other activities , I would have definitely arranged them through Uptravels.
A great tour in Hanoi, cozy and spacious experience space. The scent of incense made me feel peace in my soul. I enjoyed precious teas and delicious vegetarian food here. Tour guide Mr Mike Tran was very attentive and friendly. 5 star rating
