Our tour is 6 hour - cruise in Halong Bay with seafood lunch and 3 outdoor activities : kayaking, swimming/mountain trekking and cave visiting . It is the route of 2 days/1 night tour so traveller can save money and time for other places in Vietnam

8.15-8.50: Get picked up at the hotel in Hanoi Old Quater/ Opera House to depart for Halong Bay Our journey follows Hanoi – Haiphong- Tuan Chau Highway (about a 2.5-hour drive)
12:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor, get on the boat to start the excursion discovering the beauty of the world heritage site 12:30: Enjoy set menu lunch on the boat with many special dishes of Halong. While having lunch, you all can see the beautiful scenery on both sides with thousands of limestone such as Fighting Chicken and Incense Buner Islets – 2 symbols of Halong Bay
14.00: Arrive at Bo Hon Island, and you will visit Sung Sot Cave – the most beautiful cave with a lot of stalagmites and stalactites 14.45: Do kayaking or bamboo boat through Luon Cave to discover the beautiful lagoon.
15.15: Visit TiTop Island with its sandy beach. You can go swimming here or trek up to the top of the island for sightseeing all of Halong bay 16.00: Back to the boat for the sunset party (some wine, fruits, and biscuits) meanwhile the boat is cruising back to the harbor
17.45: Arrive back atthe harbor. Get on the bus and return to Hanoi 20:30: Get dropped off at the hotel. Tour ends

The tour guide Lin I think was his name was terribly rude. They ran an HOUR just to pick up passengers. The bus is very packed. The woman sitting next to me was on her phone and taking up alot of space. On our way home I sat on the first seat which had more leg room. The man got upset and told the tour guide and he asked me to get up and go to my "assigned seat". I told him we all paid for the tour and why can't I sit where I want to and the tour guide announced everyone needs to sit in their assigned seat. It was very offensive. During lunch I asked if I can eat vegetarian since I'm allergic to shrimps and he said but we're also going to have chicken. He was so rude about everything. I also found out that others paid a way cheaper price than I did. I told the company this as well and they refunded me my portion. It's sad because the actual tour is a breathtaking place. I don't recommend this tour company.
The pickup time is 1.5 hours before the actual day trip. The driver & guide were rude. We arrived at our destination, next to a seiries of boat launches that looked like a slum, and the boats were all very under standard.
Dear BendS, Thank you for your review. We pick up all the guests from 08:00 to 08:30 AM for Halong Bay tour in Old Quater area. On Tet holiday, the street is crowded and you may be on the bus longer time. We are sorry about it. Halong Bay is beautiful and thousands of visitors recognize it. We renovated our cruise very often and is recommended by guests. Our staffs are experienced and well trained. Therefore, I believe you are writing the wrong boat. The tour guide was very helpful. The name of guider was Hung. He is very knowledgeable and cool person who helps for other best places and contacts details as well.
