9.00 AM: Pick up & transfers to Halong bay in early morning (FREE)
Check-in onboard from Tuan Chau Marina habour at the noon time.
12:00: Arrive Tuan Chau Harbor, welcome aboard, and safety briefing - We will take you on an 5 hour journey via 2 day-sleeper boat cruise route which renowned for its striking, if bizarre scenery, passages uninhabited islets and outcrops have been given imaginative names by the locals, due to their perceived shapes, including Cock Fighting, Incense Burner, and Thumb, while enjoy Vietnamese mouth-water-ing lunch on boat. 14:00: Visit Surprise cave. - Visit Titov Island, swimming at the nice beach or hiking up to the top & enjoy amazing panorama views of the bay. - Do kayaking through tunnel & enjoy beautiful landscapes in your own. 16:00: Return onboard, cruise back toward Tuan Chau harbor. There are a lot of time for sunbathing on upper deck with music, enjoy great fun of group touring fellows among world iconic natural scenery. 18.00: Disembark Habour. FREE Shuttle bus back to Hanoi & will arrive in Hanoi around 9.00-9.30PM

- 7.40-8.20AM: Pick up at hotels in Hanoi old quarter (time to pick up depending your hotel locations...). If customers don't stay in Hanoi old quarter, pls come to Hanoi Opera house, 01 Trang Tien street before 7.30AM or Hanoi Silk Path hotel, 195 Hang Bong street at 7.45AM or Embassy hotel, 166 Tran Quang Khai street at 8.20AM to get on the bus

- Ha Long Bay is so beautiful and it's crowded every day, especially in summer and weekends -> it is often overcrowded by Vietnamese tourists in summer.
- Sometimes, you will see garbages on Ha Long Bay due to changes in flowing water and tides, garbages from other places come to to Ha Long Bay. Government, local people, travel companies... are trying their best to clean up Ha Long Bay.

- From July 01, 2026, the Vietnamese government stopped all the tourist buses to come inside Hanoi Old Quarter. So, we will confirm exactly pickup point and time before the departure date. Pickup and drop-off services will be provided along the following streets: Hai Bà Trưng, Tràng Thi, Phùng Hưng, Hàng Đậu, Trần Nhật Duật, Trần Quang Khải, Nhà Hát Lớn, Tràng Tiền, Lý Thường Kiệt...

I chose to do the day trip rather than an overnight stay but was a bit concerned it would feel rushed. It didn't feel like you were too rushed though as there was enough time to see and do everything ok. The main frustration was there was just sooo many tourists at each location there was a lot of waiting around and getting squashed in crowds but I don't think there's much you can do about that. I still think it was worth going, the surprising cave was an amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience and kayaking under the caves was so fun. The beach was so packed so I did the climb instead, not enough time to do both with the time allotted. The boat itself was new, clean and modern with a pool on top and the lunch was surprisingly fantastic with lots of non-seafood options (I don't eat seafood). I chose this tour because it didn't have the silly 'sunset party' with music on the way back which I'm glad as after a long day all you want to do is relax. My only criticism is our tour guide didn't share much information about each site he pretty much just lead the way and gave practical information about how long we had and where to meet etc.
The views of the bay are stunning, and it is so peaceful. One of the best part is kayaking activity & don’t miss it. It’s so funny & great memorable when we can explore the bay & tunnel in our own! I would recommend!
The staff were friendly, the tour guide was very knowledgeable. The food was exceptional. And of course Halong bay was incredible gorgeous & cruising is the best way to experience! Overall, this trip was better than expected. We will be back for longer stay!
