Halong Bay Cruise Tour from Hanoi with Kayak Adventure

We went to Halong Bay with our amazing tour guide Lee.He was on time and rang me when he knew he will be a second late. He was busy going around clients for pick up. I did score of 4 as places we went were getting crowded and felt we were in a hurry. This was not Lee's fault,he was trying his best he can gave us a lot of information and made sure we can go to the places. Also,Lee was very patient when one family was late and he was trying to find them. Unfortunately we got a photo with Lee. But anyway this photo we got was credit to Lee.

The company tour stopped at a pearl shop enroute which was not mentioned and no one wanted took time away from Halong Bay. The guide was really bad at giving instructions on when to meet back up and where. At some point we merged with a different group so that was confusing. The buffet on the boat was not amazing. The various guides got really mixed up with the boat seating. We had very little time at the various stops, mainly at the kayak stop when because 100’s of people from various tours were there, we ran out of time waiting for a kayak. The tour guides did not help. And then we ended up waiting for ages for other people who were late as they ignored the time to get back to the boat. The places this company went to in Halong bay were sooo busy with loads of other boats. Nothing serene about it. Halong bay itself is beautiful, but for how long? Arrived back at hotel very late, this wasn’t made clear. Coach was far from the luxury advertised.

Our tour guide Nam anh was fantastic from start to finish. He ensured we were comfortable from our hotel door until we finished our trip. A great day out. Thank you Nam anh.

The entire experience is great, it’s worth the shot. The guide tours though working with the agency aren’t the best. They are super disorganized and don’t know how to manage properly. We’ve done the one day trip to Halong bay and we believe it would’ve been way better if our tour knew what he was doing.

We had good time in the day tour in reina cruise day tour. Our guide tho from watti travel was very friendly and informative. The sunset party was wild with some mexican songs and dancings.

Mis-advertised as full day. We wasted an hour at a pearl farm tourist trap not part of the itinerary. Super disorganized tour. Food was awful!!!!! Barely eatable. Kayaked for 30 minutes and that was it. Ha long bag was gorgeous, would recommend different company.

Good food,great activities, Mr Cuong is great tour guide .He is so attentive and enthusiastic. The tour was reasonably price .Highly recommended this trip

Did the Halong Bay day tour, worst idea I've had while I was in Vietnam. My least enjoyable day since I've been here. Sure Halong Bay is beautiful, but this tour is horrible. The seats in the bus were horrible, I was squeezed onto someone the whole ride there and back. There were way too many boats going at the same time. They should've a quota or something it'd make the experience much more enjoyable. Every single tour has the same stops, which doesn't really help the situation. Most of the time was spent in the cave, which was cool but not what I mainly wanted to see. The island where we could swim was absolutely packed barely any place on the beach, all the swimming area was full. The food on the boat was cold, most of the seafood was tasteless and rubbery. My guide, I couldn't understand a word he said most of the time. To end it, on the way back we weren't on time, 3/4 was sleeping and they decide to take a 30 minutee break at a truck stop when we only had 1 more hour to go. This is so idiotic and just wastes the remaining of the night for me, I had plans for dinner. I was told I'd be back at 8:30 pm at the latest. The way this is going I'll be at my hotel by 10 pm. I don't recommend this tour to anyone and wish I hadn't done it, what a waste of a day in my opinion.

We were picked up right on time by Mr Circus. Very experienced and friendly tour guide. We went to a pearl farm then onto the cruising ship with a great lunch. Then visited the surprising cave, Ti Top Island and then finished with kayaking. All activities as promised on the itinerary with high way transfer and safety. The guide and boat staff made the difference. I would highly recommend. When visiting Ti Top Island consider making the short climb to the top of the island rather than swim as the beach is very crowded and busy. Bring your own drinks to save $ - no single use plastics We opted to get off at the night market on the way back.

With over 8 hrs in a mini bus for around a 4 hr tour we found it to be a bit boring the tour itself was ok but if not time poor I would not do a day tour.
