This is a must do experience, the tour from Hanoi offered us everything we needed. Hotel pick up and drop off in the Old Quarter, transfer on a comfortable bus, and the tour guide Kenny keeping us informed about local sights. The food on the boat was great, and the cruise itself very smooth, the boat was spacious. 3 stops on the boat, climb the hill up the steps, it is quite a walk, and you need to be quite fit and steady on your feet, the bamboo or kayak though the cave and then walking through the bigger caves. If like us. you are lucky the sun will come out at some point. Good value for money. 2 toilet/food stops on the way down, one at a pearl factory, and 1 stop on the way home.
Food and drinks is very good Environment very comfortable Staffs Thai and Son service is very good. Cave was very attractive
Must Visit Place in Vietnam. This place is a Must visit in Vietnam. There are various options Ranging from Day cruise to Night cruise as well. We had taken a Luxury Day cruise It starts in the Morning and Drops u back at around 5-5.30 PM The Boat/ Luxury boat passes through the Halong Bay in a beautiful nature gifted postcard looking views One crosses numerous Small mountains. Our cruise stopped at one of the places n took us to a Cave which was itself excellent. We also did Kayaking at one other location. The Luxury boat had a Sun deck where there was a Small Zacuzzi as well for relaxation. For the food part, If someone is a Vegetarian, then one has to inform the Tour Operator in advance. Good Vegetarian food is made available in thats case Overall, a must visit
