Halong Bay 2 Days 1 Night Traditional Boat

⭐☆☆☆☆ 1/5 (I can not upload the video of the infestation here but if you need proof email me at kretaevertsz101@gmail.com) I hope you do not have to experience what I experienced🙏🏽 I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Sunlight Legend Cruise in Ha Long Bay was by far the worst travel experience I have ever had. The biggest issue was the severe cockroach infestation onboard. During my overnight stay, I found at least five cockroaches inside my cabin alone, and I also saw roaches in various areas around the boat, including on the deck. This was extremely disturbing and unacceptable for an overnight cruise. The situation became so bad that I did not feel comfortable sleeping in my room. Instead, I spent most of the night awake on the top deck because staff informed me that there were “less roaches” there. No guest should ever have to choose between sleeping in an infested cabin or staying awake outside all night. In addition to the cockroaches, I personally saw two rats in the kitchen area. After seeing both roaches throughout the boat and rats in the kitchen, I no longer felt comfortable eating any of the food served onboard due to serious hygiene concerns. What made the experience even more disappointing was how the complaint was handled. I paid $165 for this cruise, yet the company only offered a $20 refund, and this was only after I provided the booking agency with photos and videos documenting the conditions onboard. Even more concerning, a staff member onboard told me that the company was already aware of the infestation issues but continued to bring guests onboard. If this is true, it is completely unacceptable. Ha Long Bay itself is absolutely breathtaking, but unfortunately this cruise completely ruined what should have been an unforgettable experience for all the right reasons. I strongly encourage future travelers to thoroughly research this company, read recent reviews carefully, and seriously consider other cruise options if cleanliness and hygiene are important to you. I sincerely hope Sunlight Legend Cruise takes immediate action to address these sanitation issues, because no guest should have to endure this type of experience.

We booked a 3 day 2 night cruise but when on board we were told we had to move to another boat for second day as boat was being tested! Not relaxed so changed to 1 night. Mr Loi is a complete rude and u0nconcerning man that dosent care for his staff or his customers. Breakfast 2nd day 7am lunch 2nd day 10.30 am put on bus for transfer to Ha now at 11.45 then told had to wait for 2 more people from another company! 13.40 we left after I kept texting the wonderful Mr Loi asking how much longer. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS VERY POOR AND BADLY RUN COMPANY!!!! Also Fingernails in our bathroom and on window seal........AVOID

Very bad experience for us. The fact of having fixed schedules for the activities (imposed), having to pay for drinks and even water, which is five times the price compared to outside... The quality of the bedding is pitiful. To avoid!

The tour was exceptional from pickup to drop-off, with thorough enjoyment throughout. The entire staff, including the bus driver, provided outstanding service.

There was a 1 hour shopping stop from Hanoi and then a 30 min shopping stop back from Halong Bay. If you're okay with that then fine, but I don't like to be forced to go shopping when I've paid for a tour. The cabin was sickening, literally. The generator fumes constantly streamed into our window all night because it wouldn't close fully. The generator made a lot of noise which would have made it difficult to sleep, but we ended up needing to turn the air conditioning to help with the fumes and that was even louder. The next day I had a wicked headache from the fumes and lack of sleep.

Pink is an exceptional tour guide. She was so cheerful and kind. Helped us have a memorable cruise experience in Vietnam.

Great stay, cheap 150€/pers. 3 days one on boat and one night at the Hotel on Cat Ba. All included. Departure and return to Hanoi. 24 people, just backpackers. Very nice atmosphere and very well organized. Our guide Pink was very competent. We recommend to non-usuals like us

An absolutely unforgettable experience! This 2-day Halong Bay cruise was simply magical, well beyond all expectations. Breathtaking scenery, an incredible atmosphere and a perfect organization. A huge thank you to Pink, for her exceptional kindness, professionalism and attentiveness at all times, as well as to the whole boat team, always smiling and with little care. We leave with images engraved for life and the memory of delicious, varied and refined meals. Special mention for the spring roll preparation workshop at aperitif time: a friendly, fun and really great time without forgetting the evening karaoke! We also greatly appreciated the fact that the cruise takes place away from mass tourism, without being surrounded by crowds of tourists, which makes the experience even more authentic and soothing. I recommend this company with my eyes closed. If you are still hesitating, rush: it is an experience to live at least once in your life! Anna & Niko

We truly enjoyed the trip, especially the way Pink guided us throughout. Her explanations were very detailed and informative, and many of the experiences were completely new for us, which made the journey even more special. What we appreciated most was her constant availability and willingness to help us in every possible way. Her support and friendly nature made us feel comfortable and well taken care of at all times.
