Half Day Tour: Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple & Memnon

Ali provides good information and guiding for temples around luxor. His English is easy to understand and his explanation is very clear (the best guide we have in our 11 days trip- we hired total 5 guides). His time management is great and he is very punctual, amble time for explanation and taking photos. His car is sparkling clean which is a real bonus. He is trustworthy and we highly recommend him to any traveler going through Luxor.

What a wonderful day we had! We saw so many beautiful things, but above all, we learned a lot. Detailed and pleasant explanations, but also time everywhere to look around on our own. The transportation was well organized too!

Ali is punctual, well organised tour guide. He's a great story teller, hence it's easy to understand (his good and clear english helps as well), follow and remember the information provided on history and sites we visited ( he didn't hesitate to answer my questions on current culture and life in Egypt as well). Easily picked up on our needs and accommodated them. I liked how simple communication was. I would trust him to create full itinerary for the trip!

This tour was way better value than the equivalent tour being offered by our cruise ship, and had the benefit of being able to move at our own pace. Waleed gave us just the right level of information and guidance at each site, the car was comfortable and our driver felt safe. I’d totally recommend this private tour over group tours.

A brilliant day exploring! I was picked up promptly at 7am at my river boat by Waleed and Sayed the driver. Walked explained what we were going to do for the day and his background and told me a bit about his excavation work, and it was clear he was a super knowledgeable egyptologist. We started at the Valley of the Kings, where Waleed sat me down first and explained lots of history of the site and the new kingdom, before organising my tickets for me. I also added on the tombs of Seti, Ramses v and VI and Tutankhamen and Waleed helped me with this as well. The tour was fantastic, guides aren't allowed inside the tonbs so before each one Waleed would explain what I was going to see in detail, the history and significance and then allow me free time to explore at my leisure. He even had photos of the original Tutankhamen exploration to show me and give me some really in depth background. After this we head to the Mortuary temple of Haphepsut, and again Waleed organised the entrance tickets and tickets for the electric vehicles (which was definitely needed due to the heat!). He had some excellent information on this as well and again gave me plenty of time to explore but myself, and he took some excellent photos for me! Finally we ended up with the Colossi of Memnon and then back to the boat in time for lunch. I would 100% recommend anyone to use this company Waleed and Sayed were great and I felt very safe the whole time and learnt so much. 10/10 day.
