Enjoy walking along the banks of the Río de la Plata and the Tigre Delta, breathing the fresh air outside the big city, nature and the beautiful houses that characterize this area. On this private tour you will be able to visit places that are not normally part of the typical tourist circuits, and you will be able to experience Buenos Aires like a local, with the most personalized attention. We will visit areas that are difficult to access by public transportation, with a driver available to manage your own times and with maximum comfort. You will have the expert guide of Luz, your host, who will provide you with details about the history of the places included in the tour, and more. Although there is a pre-defined route, there is the possibility of adjusting the route to your preferences if you wish. Round trip transfer to your hotel or to the airport or terminal of your preference is included.

Itinerary
We will enter the quiet and sheltered town of Nordelta. We will be able to see from the outside the sumptuous weekend houses next to the lakes that characterize this area of Buenos Aires full of nature. Optionally, we can make a stop at one of the most notable restaurants in the area to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Nordelta.
We will visit the majestic Tigre Art Museum located in front of the river. We will appreciate its imposing architecture from the early 20th century and tour its exhibition halls. There we can see both fixed and rotating art collections of the season.
We will visit the famous Puerto de Frutos, a beautiful artisan market facing the river. It is the best place to buy typical Argentine products at the best price, from leather goods to wood crafts, spices and other edible products such as sausages and honey.
(Only available Saturdays and Sundays) We will visit the beautiful Villa Ocampo residence and museum, a mansion that belonged to the writer and philanthropist Victoria Ocampo. We will enjoy the beauty and tranquility of its gardens and appreciate the Art Deco style details of the interior of the house. Optionally, we can visit the tea house, which offers delicious options for afternoon tea with a unique view of the property's gardens. Approximate ticket price: 2 US dollars
We will tour the splendid town of San Isidro by car. We will appreciate the beauty of its groves, the tranquility of its streets and its exclusive houses. We will head towards the river walk and enjoy the view it offers us.

We wanted to have a day out of Buenos Aires and an afternoon in Tigre looked great. Luz took us to the museum in the old Casino and to the Maritime Museum (our special request) as well as to the Ocampo house and grounds. The waterways in Tigre are beautiful. The drive to and from BA was interesting. Luz was well informed and we learned a lot about history and current events. It was a perfect afternoon.
