Welcome aboard Taboo ! Taboo is a cozy sailing catamaran and the perfect way to discover the wonders of Moorea. Get ready to share with us a memorable experience in the lagoon :) We start from our boat mooring, pass by Opunohu Bay and sail along the North coast of Moorea to the Tiahura's motus to enjoy amazing landscapes, clear water, lush mountains, paradisiac islets... We'll do several snorkeling stops in pristine water for magical wildlife encounters and to visit Tikis (traditional statues). You'll swim with black tip sharks, stingrays and colorful tropical fishes in a coral garden. We often see sea turtles and dolphins on our way ! A tasty and delicious plate of fresh local fruits and cocktails will be ready for you. Taboo is a comfortable catamaran with mattress, overwater net and a shadded area. Taboo offers intimate sailing cruises (maximum 8 guests) with an early morning or afternoon departure to avoid crowds. It guarantees to offer you the experience of a lifetime !

IMPORTANT INFO FOR ALL PASSENGERS : We’ll confirm your exact meeting time & place via Tripadvisor/Viator messages. Please check your emails/spam and reply to confirm. (No show = no refund) Tours depart from our boat location at the marina of Opunohu (search “Voila Moorea” on Google Maps). Choose the correct pick-up option when booking, based on your location. Pick-up available for 2+ passengers, only along the main island road ("route de ceinture"). > CRUISE SHIP GUESTS – contact us before booking: - Norwegian, Royal Caribbean, Princess Lines...: We’ll pick you up by boat at Papetoai dock (same as tender pier). - Cooks Bay dock: Meet at the Tourism Office, we’ll drive you to the boat. > COMING FROM TAHITI BY FERRY: Take the 6:10 AM Aremiti Ferry (Mon–Fri). No tours available Sat–Sun and local public holidays due to ferry schedule.

This boat and crew are very nice. They provided a nice scenic cruise through 2 of the main bays of Moorea. The location for snorkeling was close to the reef, but currents were too strong for most people to comfortably be in the water. Snacks were provided and they were refreshing. The best part of the trip was being on the water and viewing this majestic island paradise.
Outstanding! Our guide and captain were lovely. We had only 6 + 2 crew on the boat and it was perfect!! What a great day!!!
Magnificent trip on the lagoon of Moorea aboard a very nice small 8-seat catamaran with nets to lie in the sun between each snorkeling stop. We were accompanied by Heinui, the captain, and Jade who provided us with very precise explanations in both English and French. We also had very nice encounters with the other people on the boat. A beautiful memory to cherish!

Had a great time with the crew, the ride was very scenic. The 3 stops are unique and each very enjoyable, sharks, rays, corals, historical and culitural stops! We highly recommend!

Fabulous experience from the start. Received by Doris at the Marina and she drove us to the dock. The guide Jade was excellent in explaining things in both English and French. She was humorous and kept the journey lively. She was attentive to different needs and cared about all of us. The captain, I believe his name is Kai Nui was not just the captain but also the bartender. We were served fruit platter, pineapple juice, and cocktails and mocktails at the end of the journey. We stopped at three different places for various experiences. First to snorkeling around coral area, second was snorkeling with sharks and rays, and third was where there are tikis. Water was about 9 ft deep and we were given the snorkeling gears and fins. You can also ask for noodles if you’re not good with swimming like me. It’s suggest this tour to anyone who wants to explore the area.

Great experience. The boat and the crew were fantastic. Thanks to Flo who was an amazing guide. We got to swim with sharks, mantas and many many fishes. We saw beautiful corals, underwater Tikis and even sea turtles. I highly recommend this tour in Moorea :)

The boat only fits about 6 people, which makes it very personal and private. Scuba guide was very knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend.

The whole experience was perfect and special. Starting early allowed us to dive alone with sharks and rays. The crew was friendly and made sure we had a good time while also explaining about marine life and Polynesian culture.
