Great way to spend 5 hours while visiting Acapulco. Mario provides an excellent tour on the trip to La Rouqueta Island, city history, excellent lunch at La Cabana, visit to Flamingo Hotel, cliff diving at El Mirador. We highly recommend this 👍👍👍👍👍!
Wow - thank you for this fantastic 5-star review! We're absolutely thrilled that Mario made your Acapulco adventure so memorable with his excellent tour guiding. You perfectly described our ideal day out - from exploring La Roqueta Island and the historic Flamingo Hotel to that delicious lunch at La Cabaña and the breathtaking cliff divers at El Mirador. It sounds like you experienced the perfect mix of culture, history, and excitement that makes Acapulco so special! Your enthusiastic recommendation means the world to us. We've shared your kind words with Mario and our entire team - they'll be delighted to know they helped create such a wonderful experience. We'd be honored to welcome you back for another 5-hour (or longer!) exploration of our beautiful city. Maybe next time we can show you [another unique local experience]! Until then - safe travels and thank you for choosing us!
This trip was a wonderful experience. We were picked up by our driver Manuel who was a mine of information about Acapulco. We met with our guide Samuel on the pier next to Caleta Beach. He organized the ride over and then guided us the long way along the isle and back up to the summit (note, it is about 3 Km and has a lot of steps and some narrow parts of trail. Along the way he gave us a great nature and history discussion of the island. We reached the Light House for a wonderful view of the whole of Acapulco Bay - well worth the effort, but don't take it lightly in the heat of the day. Samuel gave us lots of great information and then led us the steep, but shorter way straight down to the Isle pier for our trip back to the city. Manuel then took us on a short tour to see the Cliff Divers. He recommended the hotel view ($10 entry includes a drink) but well worth it, since the free public platform viewing was packed with people. Then he drove us to an authentic Mexican restaurant in the old downtown area - food was excellent! Manuel then gave a guided drive tour (included a stop at 'Los Flamingos' - worth the stop) back to the Diamante beach area. Both Manuel and Samuel were great guides.
