I had an incredible time on this snorkeling tour, largely thanks to our guide who was exceptionally patient and kind. We visited 3 spots. We saw meta ray, eagal ray, coral and tropical fish. I am not confident in swimming in sea. The guide will check with everyone if he/she is comfortable about swimming in sea. Since I am a bit nervous about swimming in the open ocean, the guide went above and beyond by pulling me along with a life ring the entire time and constantly checking in on me with, "Is everything okay?" This made me feel so safe and allowed me to truly enjoy the tour. Additionally, we completely forgot to bring towels, but they kindly provided us with some to dry off afterward. They were also incredibly patient and happy to answer all of our questions about marine life. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone, especially beginners or those who might be hesitant about swimming in the sea!
Just an absolutely fabulous tour. This was the highlight of our trip to Bora Bora! We say 3 kinds of rays, sharks and the most beautiful coral garden imaginable. Wilson and Raul were our guides. I would highly recommend them and the tour.
Matt was a great guide and very accommodating. He took us to three great snorkeling places and was very patient with beginner snorkelers. Great afternoon snorkeling and seeing the whole island
This was an amazing snorkel experience. The timing worked well with our cruise stop in Bora Bora. On our small boat with only 5 passengers, we circumnavigated Bora Bora, stopping to snorkel with manta rays, eagle rays, and through an amazing coral garden. The coral garden was crystal clear with vibrant coral and tons of brightly colored fish. We were able to catch a quick glimpse of a manta ray at one "cleaning station". We also got to swim with a school of eagle rays! Overall, the day was fantastic. I highly recommend it.
My wife and I took the afternoon snorkeling tour with H2O on July 6, 2026, and it was unforgettable! The weather was perfect, and the water was crystal clear. Our captain, Raudy, was absolutely incredible and showed unbelievable professionalism. First, my Google Pixel 8 Pro fell into the deep water while the boat was moving fast. Despite the strong current and distance, Raudy turned back, and a few of us jumped in to look for it. It felt like an impossible task, but miraculously, Raudy actually found my phone in the endless sea! Even though the phone is damaged, finding it was a total miracle. Later at Coral Garden, the group got separated while snorkeling. I lost sight of our boat, but Raudy quickly swam over to guide me. He then miraculously spotted my wife among a crowd of tourists; she was struggling with her new mask and fins. Raudy safely dragged her back to the boat. We are so grateful to Raudy for his outstanding skills and chivalrous spirit! Special thanks also to Aimee for her patient and wonderful organization. Highly recommend H2O tours!
Incredible half-day, different snorkeling spots allow you to discover wonders in the Bora-Bora lagoon.
The guide Terai was spectacular. The weather was not good but he kept trying to find Eagle and manta rays. The Coral Gardens were magnificent. I managed the ladder which was smaller than I expected.
We loved our guide Terei a lot. The coral gardens snorkling was sublime. Amongst the best coral snd fish in the world for sure and such easy swimming with no current. Terei knowledgeable, a great swimmer and looked hard for eagle rays that had gone wandering sadly (weather was windy and grey) by 4pm. He found a manta ray for 2 of the 4 of us to swim with. Fun! Wster was choppy so a tad uncomfortable but ok. Well done H2O. Ladder access was okay for someone who finds getting in and out of a boat very hard because of knee replacement and an op 3 months ago. But I did it with his help of course. I also loved seeing the resorts up close and personal too as we looked for rays. A wonderful afternoon outing.
5 stars because we saw it all. A manta ray during the day, at a cleaning station, 15 bat rays hanging out and socializing and a beautiful coral garden. Along the way travel in the most comfortable snorkel cruise boat ever. With a maximum of 8 passengers including the skipper. Great seanery along the way and a 360 degree tour all around Bora Bora.
Amazing experience! Tour guide took us all around the island, told us some history/fun facts, and knew all the good spots for fish, manta rays, and eagle rays. Highly recommend.
