Itinerary

Pass by

Famous worldwide for its pastel-coloured houses and exclusive harbour, Portofino is a picture of Italian sophistication. Once a humble Roman fishing village known as Portus Delfini (named for the dolphins that swam in its bay), it has evolved into a playground for the rich and famous. Today, its scenic waterfront buzzes with designer boutiques, stylish cafés, and inviting terraces—perfect for soaking up the sunshine and people-watching in true Riviera style.

Pass by

Just along the coast lies Santa Margherita, a seaside gem filled with old-world charm. Stroll past elegant villas, colourful promenades, and historic landmarks like the 16th-century Abbey of Cervara, once protected by watchtowers against pirate raids. The magnificent Villa Durazzo, with its lavish frescoes, mosaic floors, and lush gardens, offers a glimpse into the grandeur of 17th-century aristocratic life.

Pass by

End your tour in Camogli, a vibrant fishing village whose name means “houses of the wives”—a nod to the women who kept the town running while their husbands were at sea. With its tall, colourful houses lining the waterfront, Camogli exudes charm and character. Savour the aroma of fresh pesto, feel the warmth of the sun, and take in the relaxed coastal atmosphere that has drawn visitors for generations.

Must see! Absolutely gorgeous.

The areas and church were gorgeous. Just wish our tour guide would have had a speaker in the van. He was describing everything to the person in the passenger seat and no one else could hear what he was saying.

WTF

The meeting place was inside cruise ship security at the berth. I was coming from the hotel and was denied entry. No one was available to answer my call of offer assistance. This NEEDS to be made clear online!!!! After a very frustrating hour dealing with port security and guides from other tours at a VERY crowded terminal I missed the tour all together. I have asked for a refund. Waiting to see if that will happen. THIS TOUR IS FOR CRUISE SHIP PASSENGERS!!!!! If you are staying at a hotel in Genoa you will be denied entrance to meet the tour

Great cruise day trip

If you're arriving by cruise ship and want to avoid large bus tours, this is a fantastic option. We visited three very different coastal towns in one day, each with its own charm. The timing was well planned, we still had free time to explore, and most importantly we made it back to the ship with plenty of time to spare. Would definitely book again.

Perfect Italian Riviera Day Trip from Port

A fantastic way to see the Italian Riviera in a short time. Portofino is stunning, Santa Margherita elegant, and Camogli full of authentic charm. The small group made it relaxed, and everything was perfectly organised from the port. Great balance of scenery, culture, and free time highly recommended for cruise passengers.
