Half Day Private Medellin City Tour with Fernando Botero`s Plaza
Description
Visit Medellin’s touristy icons on a fully narrated tour with a professional local guide and multiple departure times any day of the week. Your bilingual driver will come to your door and then head to Medellin´s most representative locations on a customized journey by car with AC just minutes away. There is enough free time to walk around and take the best postcard pictures, with convenient facilities where to use bathrooms or grab snacks at any time so we recommend bringing cash and/or Colombian pesos since not every store takes credit cards. First stop takes place at Botero square to meet the 23 statues donted by Fernando Botero, one of Colombia`s most recognized artist. Then, tour goes on to the cable car, where you can share amazing views of the city and your ticket is included. Finally, a stop takes place at the vibrant comuna 13 in order to check out the colorful street art along the urban escalators that make this a unique stop while in Medellin.

Terrific tour! Relaxed pace and customized experience. Daniel was our tour guide and he was fabulous and entertaining! He put the sites and communities into historic perspective. Iván was the most amazing, attentive, and friendliest tour guide. He made sure we were safe and comfortable while with him and even went to the pharmacy to get my sister medicine at the pharmacy when she was not feeling well. It was a terrible experience. I requested to add visiting Arvi Park to the tour. They agreed and almost doubled the price. As a single person it went from over 500,000 pesos for the original tour to over 1,000,000 pesos with the add on. To walk in the park which was a fair distance drive away I thought that might be worth it. But all the guide did was send me on up on a cable car ride (and on my own) over part of the park. I was told not to get off at the top of the ride (which you could do) but loop back down because that would otherwise cost a second ticket. So for the extra 500,000 pesos all I got was a cable car ride without stopping. That was 20 something thousand pesos. And I did not get into the park at all. If that was all that was to be offered they should have informed me of that and I would not have agreed to pay another 500,000 pesos. When I conveyed my concerns to the tour company three times they ignored me each time. I had to go to Viator and all I received was a 155,000 peso refund. The company never did communicate with me.
