My daughter and I spent a major part of the day guided by Hicham through the Medina and souks of Fes. Hicham grew up there, and everywhere we went, we met friends he has known since childhood, which gave our tour a more personal flavor. It is more hilly and labyrinthine than the Medina in Marrakech and much more a real community than a tourist shopping mall. Hicham shared so much cultural, historical, and his personal experience and insights with us- it was a fascinating and fun day. Two thumbs up!
Thank you so much
Abdou was lovely and very accommodating. We were able to Taylor the tour to what we were interested in. Abdou was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about Fes and Morrocco even when we had already been here for a week. Well worth it! Also 4 hours didn't feel long and there is plenty of time to stop and rest.
Thank you so much
Memorable visit to the medina of Fes. Guide Abdelhak is amazing! He listens and gives a lot of information, he made us taste some pastries and Moroccan tea. This visit is a must and unforgettable! We recommend without hesitation! Thank you Abdelhak for your hospitality, generosity and kindness!
Thank you so much
On Thursday, May 7, my girlfriend and I took this tour with Abdelhak as our guide. This gentleman knew so much to share about Fes, the Medina, the faith, and many other topics. We could ask him anything, and he patiently answered all our questions. Along the way, we enjoyed a cappuccino and tasted some delicious local treats. We also spotted some nice shops, and he helped us negotiate—super handy! Abdelhak is incredibly friendly, takes his time, and lets you stop wherever you want. He thinks along with you and adapts to what you’d like to see. We hit all the highlights of Fes: the mosques, madrasas, tanneries—pretty much everything. He speaks excellent English too. We’re extremely satisfied and highly recommend him!
Thank you so much
The “guide” is more of a follower who takes you through the streets and hardly tells you anything. It only takes you to the tourist attractions, where you can go yourself. What he shows you are shops. Lots of shops and he likes to tell more about them. I was alone on the first day and I saw and learned a lot more than in the couple of hours with this guide. Not recommended.
More than an exciting visit to the medina of Fez, this day was an encounter with a guide steeped in places and history, the transmission of his knowledge and the will to please. A wonderful experience that I recommend. Philip
Thank you so much
It was a highlight of my trip! The guide was incredibly kind and made me feel comfortable from the very start. He also supported me with bargaining, which made the whole experience much easier and more enjoyable. He shared fascinating stories with warmth and humor, making the whole experience feel easy and genuinely enjoyable.
Thank you so much
We had the best experience in Fes, thanks to our guide Ahmed!! He was a very lovely, knowledgeable and funny guide who you could ask anything. He picked us up at the Riad and brought us to the best lunch place in town. He adjusted the tour to things we would like to see. Furthermore, his English was perfect, good to follow. Very much recommend this private tour!!
Thank you so much
Really excellent walk around the Medina. Passed the main sites and able to gain an appreciation of the history and culture thanks to my excellent guide. Highly recommend.
Thank you so much
We were fortunate to have booked in my opinion the best tour guide in Fez. Abdullah was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and great company to be with. He told and showed us lots of things and made our short visit a great experience full of memories. Through back street alleys to the major sites, and things that usually get missed. We came by train and he called me to check we were safe onboard, when we were returning. Such kindness is hard to find, if we were coming this way again we would go out of our way to have a coffee and catch up with him.
Thank you so much
