We will meet at the Amsterdam Centraal Station, from where we will take a train to the fairy-tale windmill village, which only takes 15 minutes to get to. Over there we will have a huge amount of local sightseeings on the way and we will definitely try to visit all of them, strolling along an incredibly beautiful landscape with a view of polders, old wooden houses, movable bridges, wild swans and white lambs. Amsterdam Centraal Station - the meeting point, where we give you some information about Zaanse-Schans. From there we will take a train to the fairy-tale windmill village, which only takes 15 minutes to get to.
Windmills - there will be a lot of sightseeings on our way, such as spicemill, oil mill, sawmill and dyemill, where you can find out more about Dutch past, Naval history of the country and discover all the different ways to use windmills in modern times.
Albert Heijn Store - the oldest supermarket in the Netherlands, where we will share you with some secrets of this successful family business;
Chocolate workshops - where you can taste delicious chocolate beer and find out more about history of this product and social initiatives, that makes our world better!
Cheese store - where you can taste local cheese and mustard, discover more about Dutch cuisine and visit a little farm with goats and hens;
Wooden shoe workshops - where you can watch a demonstration of the clogs making and find out more about national clothings of this region;
Antique store, pastry-museum and other locals stores - where you can find lots of treasures or taste some lovely Dutch sweets!
Beautiful green yards and cozy alleys - we will have a little walk around those cozy streets with old wooden houses, where you can find out more about Dutch households and family traditions;

The tour to Zaanse Schans was very well organized and informative. We visited several windmills, a cheese factory, and a wooden clog workshop. Everything was clear, interesting, and on time. Our guide Ekaterina provided useful information about Dutch history, local production, and daily life. She answered all questions and managed the group perfectly. A great option to learn about traditional Holland and to see the beautiful Zaanse Schans with its windmills in just a few hours. Highly recommended.

Excellent tour and service. Coordination with Anastasia prior to arrival was outstanding and our guide, Maria was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a private tour so we asked to change the itinerary a bit after we got started and they were very accommodating. Arrived on time for pick up and vehicle was immaculate. This village is definitely worth a visit. Although rebuilt for purely tourist purposes, however the idea of Holland. To emphasize then the possibility to taste excellent specialties.

Couldn’t be better. Knew the culture and history . Maria was on time and guided us through all the steps of getting where we needed to be. The scenery was great along with the demonstrations at the windmills cheese factory and clog making factory.

Sasha our guide was wonderful . He showed us around, explained us the history of the Netherlands along with tons of wonderful info on the windmills. We had some great laughs and enjoyed spending the day with him.
