You will be accompanied by a local guide who loves his/her country and really wants to explain you everything about Bangkok, Thai culture and history! **Since you will visit the Grand Palace and important Buddhist temples, you are expected to dress respectfully. You need to wear long pants and have your shoulders covered otherwise you will be denied entry. Wear closed shoes, flip-flops and sandals are not allowed.**

The glittering Grand Palace in Bangkok is an architectural wonder that was once home to the kings of the Chakri Dynasty.
Wat Pho is one of the oldest temples in the Thai capital. It is also one of the largest temple complexes in Bangkok and has the largest collection of Buddha images in Thailand. Wat Pho maintains the title as the country’s earliest center for public education, specializing in religion, science and literature. Most of the Buddha images on display were brought to Wat Pho, by order of King Rama I, from abandoned temples in Ayutthaya and Sukhothai.
A stay in the Thai capital is not complete without visiting Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, one of Bangkok's most famous landmarks.

- Remember that the Grand Palace and temples are sacred places and you must dress appropriately. Shoulders and ankles need to be covered (for both men and women; sleeveless shirt with a scarf covering is also not allowed). No shorts, leggings, ripped jeans, tight pants, slippers (flip-flops), or revealing tops, otherwise you won't be allowed in.
- Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the tour start time are eligible for a full refund. For cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or in case of no-show, no refund will be issued.
- Our tours operate rain or shine, as tropical rain showers in Thailand usually don’t last long. If it rains heavily, we try to seek shelter and will continue as soon as the weather improves. During the rainy season, it’s a good idea to bring a raincoat or poncho. Please note cancellations due to weather are not eligible for a refund.

It’s very interesting. Nicky our guide was most helpful, energetic and fun and very informative. There is quite a lot of walking and the visual splendour can be overwhelming. Plus there can be information overload which at times was a bit overwhelming for an older couple.

We did the Grand Palace and Temples 4 hr tour. Thanya was our guide and she was wonderfull!! Knowledgeable, flexible when we wanted to go inside someplace that she wasn’t specifically guiding us, and great with our tired, hungry 11 yr old. Please tip her a little extra because we didn’t til her enough (miscommunication). She’s worth it and if enough of you do, she’ll be whole :).

We had a great tour with Tanya who was an excellent guide. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is really my own fault. We only had a short time in Bangkok so I booked a half day tour starting at 1pm. I cannot say how hot it was. It was unbelievable. And then we had a long trip back to hotel in afternoon rush hour. If you can, book this as a morning tour.

Excellent guide! Deep knowledge of the temple history, general Thai history and Buddhism. Really liked the amount of time spent and the efficiency of touring all 3 temple sites.
