Itinerary
In Hanoi, street food is our life. There is a huge difference between the food here and the other cities in the world: you would know exactly the ingredients of the dish and the seller make it in front of you, it must be fresh and hot! That is the reason why we bring you to the local market, you will get a deeper understanding of the local lifestyle, how they go shopping preparing for their meal! You will be surprised at the market for sure!
When you travel to Hanoi, you will see many local people burn fake money on the street; every shop always has a small altar in front of the door; temples and pagodas are everywhere. All of those things make you so confused about what they are doing or what the meaning of it is. You might ask "is Vietnam a Buddhist country?" You will find out all the answers at this place! It should be really interesting!
Our lovely guide will give you this delicious banh mi at the beginning of the tour.
Travelling to Hanoi city – Vietnam capital, you may be surprised by Hanoi street food – it is plentiful at everywhere that you look and is an integral part of the livelihoods of many locals. With the balance between fresh herbs and meats and selective use of spices to reach a fine taste, the Vietnam food is various about the taste, smell and the Vietnamese food can be considered as one of the healthiest cuisines in over the world.
"The rice paper roll I had here was the best I've had. Super thin, silky smooth rice paper that wraps around the filling perfectly. I ordered the mushroom and pork filling and it was great. It is served with fried onions and a fish sauce, which adds more flavour and texture to this simple yet brilliant dish."- TripAdvisor review.
Unique experience!
Best Bia Hoi in Hanoi With beer street full of tiger and Heineken, this is the place to go for that bia hoi experience. Empty glasses refilled immediately for only 11,000 VND and the most delicious pork ribs. Pull up on one of the little blue plastic stools, you won't regret it!
Bun bo Nam Bo is marinating the beef, then comes making 'nuoc cham' and the pickled vegetables (shredded carrot and papaya). The pickled veggies is crispy, a little sour and a little sweet, which even makes me eat two bowls of the noodle at once. Remember to pickle the carrot (and papaya first, before marinating the beef) since it takes at least 1 hour to get a good flavour on the carrot.
Best Bun Cha in town Great place and friendly people. They make a really good Bun Cha. Serving is super quick and the meat is good. Can highly recommend coming here.
Lake overlook. This beautiful cafe might be a little hard to find, but once there it’s worth it. Order downstairs and make your way up the stairs. The first level is a gorgeous section overlooking the courtyard that feels as if you’re in another world. Head up more stairs, but skip level 3 and go up the spiral staircase to level 4 for beautiful views of Lake Hoan Kiem. Try the iced yogurt coffee or one of the teas, relax and enjoy the view.

My gf and I did the knife making class with Dzung and ms Tuyen the black smith. We had an incredible time and the hospitality was phenomenal. To be able to be immersed in one of the oldest and artisan black smiths was an incredible experience. She made it so easy to make the knife and we felt like a local! We shared stories and laughs with her , Dzung and the family. Not to forget we left with a very practical souvenir (a knife) thanks !
This was a great experience. I am celiac and my wife is vegetarian but there were lots of delicious items for us to try. Jay was a fantastic guide and I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting any kind of tour in Hanoi.

Had an amazing food tour in Hanoi Old Quarter. Nick, who was our guide, was super knowledgeable and shared lots of cool insights about the local food and culture. He took us to authentic local spots we never would’ve found on our own. If you want a fun, stress-free experience, then I would this recommend tour with Nick.
A great selection of street food
We had an incredible experience on the Hanoi street food tour with Brian as our guide! From start to finish, the tour was well-organized, fun, and full of amazing flavors. Some of the best local dishes we tasted on our trip and he also shared great stories and insights about the city's history and food culture. especially loved how he took us to spots that felt genuinely local, not touristy. It felt like exploring the city with a knowledgeable friend who knows all the hidden gems. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Hanoi-it's the perfect way to experience the city's vibrant food scene. Come hungry, we could barley eat everything! Brian also organized transport for us from Hanoi to Lan ha Bay, to Ninh Binh and a tour of Ninh Binh with a local guide there. Transport was clean, prompt, reliable and friendly. The guide he recommended in Ninh Binh did a great job as well!

f you are a foodie, this Vietnam tour is an absolute must! Brian, the owner, created such an incredible experience for us. He took us to some of the most delicious local restaurants we never would have found on our own. The food was so amazing that we were completely stuffed by the end of the tour! One of the highlights was visiting a unique coffee house where we got to try authentic Vietnamese coffee — it was unforgettable. We also stopped at a fresh fruit stand and ended the tour at a great local bar, which was the perfect way to wrap up the day. Brian was also incredibly knowledgeable about Vietnam’s history and culture, which made the whole experience even more meaningful. Everything felt authentic, thoughtful, and perfectly paced. You can really tell Brian is passionate about sharing the real food culture of Vietnam. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves amazing food and unique local experiences!
