Half-Day Guided Whitewater Rafting - Deschutes River

Our group of 13 had an incredible experience. We have booked with this company a few other times in the past but never had a group this large. We were able to have two boats reserved and we had two amazing tour guides, both named Jake. From the start to the finish, we always felt safe. The company also takes photos at a couple of the larger rapids, it’s nice to have these memories. The guides explained everything thoroughly and made our newcomers feel at ease. 100% we would book with this company again!

We had a group of 10 for a half day adventure. We all had such an amazing time! The staff were all so friendly and helpful! The guides really made our trip! They were so much fun, so personable & knowledgeable! We couldn't have asked for better guides!

The guides are very personable and make the entire experience a blast. There are a number of rapids interspersed throughout the entire journey, making the experience a nice blend of intense spurts with some time to recoupe, chat, and look around at the beautiful scenery.

Paige did a great job of guiding and the bus driver and staff were great. O, and the guide who did the safety tutorial did a great job too. You have a first class operation! Hope you have a good season. Best regards, John and family 😎💪☮️

Chya was our guide and she was awesome! After we hit oaks springs we got stuck on a rock for a bit and she was calm, collected and handled it well. It was an absolute blast and I would definitely book with this company again. Everyone is very professional, and make the trip fun.

Start to finish wonderful. Incredible value for the money. A lot of places would not have sunscreen or water right on hand for you. They were also super safe.

The best river rafting in America! After many different rafting experiences all throughout the country this is the best one yet!!! Matt was an amazing guide and had the best attitude and knowledge of the Deschutes and Oregon!! We also had a great trainee who was also a great and knowledgeable on the area!! With these two guides the trip was unlike any other!! Amazing is the only word you can describe it!!

Amazing experience. Even though the area was low on snowfall and rain this winter and spring there were still enjoyable rapids. I guess the Deschutes river rapids are pretty much the same No matter what. Matt was our guide. Can’t say enough good things about him. Very knowledge, helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this tour for all ages. Ask for Matt!

We had a wonderful time on our first rafting trip with Deschutes River Adventures .The front staff was friendly and organized. Our guides, Pat and Mike, were very experienced and did a great job of navigating the river, especially since we had adults and kids ranging from 8-16 years old. We had a "tame" and "wild" boat, hard to believe it was the same rapids looking at the pictures! Definitely recommend buying the pictures at the end. We went over Memorial Day and it was a little chilly so the half day was a good choice, although doing a whole day where you can get out of the boat for a bit, warm up and eat lunch, might've been the way to go. The younger kids got a little chilly by the end of the trip. Would definitely do this trip again with DRA!
