James was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I was the only person on the tour and James made me feel very comfortable, completed the tour at a good pace and delivered excellent information about the Vietnamese War. Highly recommend!
We had a great day, very interesting to listen to all the stories our tourguide James was telling us. He knows a lot about history and his English was great too.
James “Bond” took myself and ~10 others today to the Cu Chi Tunnels half-day tour via The Sun Tourist - it was incredible from start to end with a particular thanks to his advanced english language skills, high energy, and vast historical knowledge on not only Vietnam but the world, encouraging great conversations amongst the group today. The 2 hour bus trip from HCMC felt like only a few minutes with James as our guide, the entertainment was phenomenal, including jokes, real-life stories, vietnamese history, and singing and harmonica playing! James very much cared for his group today, bringing bottles of water, sunscreen and bug spray, and ensuring we applied all of these before heading into the tunnels. During the tunnels he continued his entertaining speeches, and country-specific jokes to keep increasing the relationships within the group - he also took the perfect photos of every group member and shared it with us once back on the bus for free!! On the way home, unfortunately, due to the current heatwave our tour bus overheated and we needed to exit the bus. James ensured we were not left stranded and guided us to a local cafe where out of his own kindness bought every group member a drink of their choice. He then supported the bus driver with fixing and starting up the car again and ensured it was working before calling us over. We boarded the bus again, however the air-conditioner was now not working at all and the bus overheated a few minutes into this second trip. James immediately thought of his group members and stopped the bus and from his own personal phone ordered Grab cars for all the group members ensuring we got into an airconed car as quick as possible. Overall 10/10 perfect customer care from James today, highly reccomend booking through The Sun Tourist and if possible, going with James! Hopefully we can tour again with him soon - Erin & Vanessa

Bao was our guide and he spoke very good English and explained everything clearly. The tunnels are very interesting and show case how clever the Vietnamese were. It was great to experience what it was like in a tunnel.
It’s an unmissable experience, it’s amazing how much they achieved with so little. Very intelligent
